Best library ever! For library card holders there are free DVDs and audio books and use of a technology studio. Friendly and helpful staff

The people here are quite nice – although I swear the staff hasn’t changed in the 25 yrs I’ve grown up coming here. Slow Internet, pretty decent book selection. Can be noisy at times – esp the old guy librarian – but overall not a bad place. 100x better than its «sister» northfield library

I’ve been using this library for the past weeks to tutor a student with her ACT. Today a librarian walks up and hands me a letter saying the library policy is that they don’t allow tutoring because it takes up all the tables.
I looked around and noticed that, yes, we were the only two people in the whole basement area. Kind of an unnecessary to hand me that letter I feel, but hey we finished our ACT review this week anyway! I don’t plan on coming back, there are plenty of other libs out there that freely promote the pursuit of knowledge.
