Vandana is amazing at what she does she is very skilled she has been doing this for years that I think it’s just second nature to her. Her customer service is amazing and also if you need anything, go to her and all she has to do is look and fix it up and whatever it is its perfect again.

You cannot go wrong shopping here. The experience here was great from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. I’m the kind of person that likes to look at things on my own because I know so many vendors out there tell you everything looks good on you just to make more money. That was not the case here, quite the contrary in fact. You genuinely know she’s giving you sincere advice. Like a mother does with her daughter. I bought a beautiful two piece, jewelry, an outfit for my husband and Oh! I even had my eyebrows threaded all at unbeatable price!

I came in looking for a last minute outfit for an Indian wedding I had to attend. Vandana was very helpful at fulfilling what I was looking for. She also altered it for me the same day so it was a custom fit! The prices were extremely reasonable compared to the other quotes I received for similar attire. I’ll definitely come back in the future if I need Indian clothes.

Great experience at this shop! Good selection and was able to get in and out quickly. Bought something for a 12mo old baby girl so there is truly something for all sizes here. Note that this is a residence! The owner has created a small shop in a room in her home.
The owner also explained that she sews sari blouses and does alterations, which is a rare find in the valley! I haven’t used her for this service yet, but will be keeping it in mind!

Vallabh Imports has a beautiful sellection of Indian clothing for all sizes and ages. I was shocked at everything they had and what they could make to meet my needs. The Valley does not have a huge sellection of indian clothing stores that can match up to the selection that you would find in Artesia — but this store can. And the prices are great!!! I will be back many times

I needed a sari for my close friend’s wedding. As she was marrying a man from India, I needed Indian clothing for her upcoming marriage ceremony.
I met Valdana, the owner, who immediately brought several options for me to try, including kurta, salwar kameez, and saris. She was very patient and helped me with the different outfits, letting me know how to wear the pieces and which were appropriate for weddings.
I had a few other places to check, but I found that the quality and the fact that Valdana could make my pieces custom were enough to bring me back.
While the pieces were in no way cheap, you have to remember that she will custom the pieces to your body and they end up being very flattering. Since I am not a standard size, I ended up back here to get measured for my sari.
It turned out absolutely beautiful. I had several people come to me during the reception to tell me how beautiful the sari was and how lovely I looked. I am so thrilled I ended up purchasing from here, and will be back again if my friend holds another event and I need more Indian clothing! The service is excellent and the clothing is beautiful.

I am so happy with my experience here! Vandana is the owner and is absolutely lovely to work with. I was looking for a bridal saree and jewelry to complete my outfit, and had a tight budget. She never tried to sell me something I couldn’t afford and did not try to push me on anything. She worked within my budget and found exactly what I wanted. Once I tried it on it was perfect, and she even took the time to teach me the various ways to wear my outfit. The top didn’t fit perfectly so I had to have it altered, which she also does– a full service of alterations. Within a week my blouse was ready. She is so sweet and professional, and a pleasure to work with! And even better her prices are wayyyy below what you will buy in a store, I got an amazing saree worth well over $ 1k for less than half the price. I am so happy and highly recommend coming here!

If you need attire for an Indian wedding and you are considering coming here — give it a shot. I spent 2 hours here today trying on shalwar kameez and lenghas. The owner was extremely helpful, patient, and gracious! It was a bit of a whirlwind in the converted garage with three grown women and 2 infants and the owner. Not once did we feel very pressured to buy anything.
Yes knocking on the front door of a house feels weird.

Yes you can get a good value (again — she is a wholesaler).
Yes she does all the alterations — and makes custom pieces!

What a great experience! I’m not Indian but I needed an outfit for a Diwali party. I had never worn Indian clothes before. I was very nervous to try anything on. I was also in a big rush as my party was the same day. I got wonderful service. The lady helped me with selections and offered me to try on as many as I liked. I fell in love with the first outfit but it needed alterations. She told me she could do them right away as I waited. I decided to come back. Less than two hours and she phoned me that my dress was ready. I tried the dress on again. I was on my way home when I was thinking the dress was going to be way to hot with the long sleeves she had sewn on for me at my request. I called her and asked her if she could take the sleeves off. I felt really bad. She agreed to do it. It took less than a half hour and I was all set. What awesome service! The store is actually in her garage (nicely set-​up). So if you end up in a residential area you are not lost. If you call ahead you can get a personalized appointment.

I love their service we came here an hour ago to buy a saree for the first time and the lady called Vandana did a very fast job on the blouse and gave it to us when other places told us that they need at least a day or two to finish it. Thank you guys
