Brother’s Barbershop

I’ve been following these guys for while, since back in the days at Pedro’s barbershop. If u want to get a good laugh and a good haircut this is the place !!

Great place, Great barbers, Good Vibes. Look I’ve been following these guys around for about a minute, they use to be out on Ventura Blvd. and now they’re out in Winnetka. They’re shop is nestled in quaint little strip mall across the street from «The Victorian» flanked by a Mexican and a Central American food joint on one side and a Vet some other shops and a liquor store. This place is on the up and up, great place to get your hair cut. Imagine the movie «Barber Shop» but take all the barbers and replace them with a bunch or guys from Guatemala minus the Cedric character, just as good, just as funny, but in my language.
My barber was Mario, this cat is talented and always lined me up just the way i asked, once he brought out the straight razor it’s on. This cat is no longer there but my go to guy now is Jose, I call him «El Jefe de Jefes» «The Boss of Bosses» he’s one of the chiefs up in here sits right by the window you can always expect a great line up from this guy, he knows his stuff, and he does it well. I have never been disappointed in the service i receive at this place, and hey, I’m a regular. When you can sit with your barber and just ask for the usual and he knows exactly how you like it now that right there is what it’s all about.
This place is good for kids too, been bringing my son since he was knee high and now he’s taller than most of the guys in the place, TV’s all around you can always catch the game, the news or sometimes that late night novela. Never a dull moment with these guys. Take it from me if you’re looking for a place to get that fade, line up or just a trim, Brother’s is the place to go.

Never going back again. I asked for a fade, he asked where do you want it to start. Touched the side of my head with his finger and asked «mid?» I said yes. Came out with my hairline as if I had a frohawk. If you can’t cut hair, why are you working there? Asked for a very simple fade. Came out looking retarded. I never leave 1 star but I felt it us necessary in this case to warn others who potentially might get a haircut here and have to walk around looking like an idiot for the next month. Go to the Best Barbershop instead in granada hills. One of the barbers Phil was able to fix it by kind of covering it up. Not even 100 percent fixed, but still looks a lot better.
