This is an amazing business! I’m so impressed that Winnemucca has a place where I can get local veggies and much more. I love that they have eggs as well. I’m looking forward to a CSA box this summer and making many more trips to that cute little store downtown. Thanks so much to the owners for what they do!

Winnemucca is so lucky to have such dedicated individuals, they started out small a couple years ago, and are steadily and slowly growing, to the point of actually having a store front now! They had a little market at the farm location for a while, but I can’t say though I live by the house, I am happy for the store front. With it being at the house before, you didn’t want to bother them potentially.
RLM has done dinners in the past, they normally have treats for sale at the farmers markets, they work with the entire local food movement, bringing sand hill diary milk and cheeses to our area, working with Lattin farms and getting more produce, they raise their own meat and have their own CSA, and packages and more.
I have tried the Sand HIll milk, so much creamier than store bought milk, it is pasteurized, but not homogenized. It has a different taste too, which honestly, was hard to adapt to, being raised on model dairy milk. I love history and the past, so I like to imagine I got it from the front door at 5 in the morning from the milk man in glass jars.
They have quite a selection of produce considering how small they are, black radishes, and other crazy vegetables I’ve never heard or seen.
They have great hours too, Monday thru Saturday 8:30 to 6.
Also they have starters, and they brought in dwarf citrus trees, the prices are great at $ 39.95. Really a huge benefit for those that want to learn more about where their food comes from, and support it when possible.

Edited to add: They are also very tech friendly, you can order online and they will have it ready for pick up at the store. They have specials and a basket bundle as well. They take cards as well.
They make it very hard not to support them.
