Brunswick Town is a gem of a historic site. Set far enough away from Wilmington to avoid the urban sprawl, this colonial-​era site has some amazing ruins — including the brick walls of a church from the 1760’s church that would be the perfect setting for a wedding (and ask me why I know this … I just might be speaking from experience!).
The staff are friendly and the little museum tells the town’s story without overwhelming.
