Just passing through. After an extended road trip, I needed a break. I decided to tinkle in Winkelman. This was a pretty simple gas and mart, but fulfilled its purpose. On my way over to get a soda and donut, I noticed that they had Thunderbird on the shelf alongside the Boone’s flavors. Great vintage – last week. Party ON!
Seriously though – service was friendly. The sun was setting – my wife and I got our snacks and drinks, and drove on. There really isn’t a lot around here apart from some other place in town that sells grass-​fed beef (that we didn’t see). This appears to be the second Winkelman business in the history of Unilocal to ever get a review and I was happy to perform the task.
