As all the reviews do say this place is quite amazing. With the drive thru window and the nice people and the elegance of the inside. I love the little pond like area of it on the inside with the water feature it’s my favorite. My grandmother used to go there a lot we would get food from there all the time. I want to say that’s the longest staying place in that one spot because that place is always been changed up I’m glad that the Japanese place stayed.

So when traveling from Charlotte, NC to Wilmington, NC I was starving for something delicious and healthy. Literally, it seemed like in the middle of nowhere I came across this Japanese restaurant. It was fabulous!!! Delicious, fresh, the price was right and was a very clean place. The owners and staff were so nice.
Lots of seating.
I will ABSOLUTELY come back when I am going to Charlotte again. I highly recommend this place. I paid about $ 10.00 for my hibachi meal a healthy portion.

Yes!!! Just yes! Really yummy teriyaki and other reviewers are right about the shrimp sauce — it’s so popular they seem to include it with everything! Spacious and laid-​back dining area, and that nice 100 sanitary rating always puts me at ease. If you want a quick meal, you can get one for under $ 7.

On a pretty random stretch of road on the drive to Charlotte you will find this drive-​through Japanese restaurant. Yes, drive-​through Japanese. And how awesome is that?
I had sushi yesterday so I decided to give the hibachi a try. This veggie lover went happily chomping down the road. Super fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces. Obviously it takes longer than your average drive thru but the food is far from average.
Service is fun and friendly. I paid 11 bucks for a big hibachi plate and an unsweet tea.

Yup I am a fan of Tokyo Bistro. The restaurant is clean, food cheap and good, and staff is amazingly friendly. I just love their shrimp sauce. And I really love that they have a drive thru.

Tokyo Bistro is the best fast food Japanese I’ve ever had. I went to Wingate for school, and we loved how easy it was to go through the drive through, order, and go back to the pool.
Really – the reason you go is for the shrimp sauce. It has a cult following for a good reason. Make sure you ask for extra because you will want it. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve begged that adorable Asian lady for the recipe, and she just won’t budge.
I always order double sweet carrots because they are just so damn good. I’ve heard the sushi isn’t fantastic so stick with Hibachi, and you’ll be happy and wanting to bathe in that pink saucey goodness.
