Super 8 Windsor/Madison North

My husband stayed here September 22^nd and 23^rd, 2015 in room 208. He was bitten severely by bed bugs. When he asked the front desk and showed them the marks all over his body… they said «Oh, we thought nobody was supposed to be staying in that room»…no apology, they refunded his money… but of course, my husband had to see a doctor and get a prescription for a steroid to lessen the itching/​reaction as well as an antibiotic to prevent any infection from the bites. In addition, he had to wash all of his clothes and luggage he had in the room, clean his vehicle because he transported the clothes in there, purchase a new pair of clothes to wear while he washed his clothes at the laundromat, purchase Benadryl tablets and cream for itching. The same day, he presented his receipt to the front desk and they said, «the manager is not in, but we’ll have him call you». Of course no one called him, and when he called again, they still said «Oh, uh no one got back to you?»…this is ridiculous! DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! I am going to write the local news station and paper and let them know what has happened and how this establishment treated him. I also have several pictures documenting how terrible he was bitten.

Took a day ride up to the area, made reservation in advance. Met with Kathy upon arrival. She hooked us up with 3 rooms next to each other. The rooms were by the back door, easy access for the smokers in our group. The rooms were very clean & comfortable with free wifi, TV, coffee maker (no coffee pot-​confusing to some) and frig. Free breakfast also good. We will stay here whenever we ride up in the area.

Clean, friendly staff, just off freeway, and low price. We stayed for $ 69 plus tax on a Sunday evening (June 2014) in a room with 2 full beds. Also, there is continental breakfast in AM.
