This location has closed and moved into a much smaller unit in the Windsor town green.

This place is ok. There are amazing bargains, the lady is very nice, and they have some amazing sales(I believe they used to do this promotion – maybe still do? – where one can come in the last Thurs/Fri of the month and fill up bags with clothes for $ 4/bag or somethin’ crazy like that. I got a lot of cool blazers that way. And yeah… I wear blazers…).

I love this store! It is huge and has a bathroom! The prices are good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Last time I went I spent three hours shopping-you can’t beat that!

Nice and spread out with unusual books, kitchen gadgets, art. Some higher quality offerings here but the prices range from fair to on the higher side. Not the cheapest place in town but a little different variety and smiling faces looking to serve the community, I’ll be back.

Perhaps it’s because they’re leaving this location in two months(according to a Craigslist ad they posted looking for a new location), but I found this shop to be dumpy. Not to mention a total time warp! Clothes and shoes from the 80s and 90s. A very small section of DVDs and CDs, but piles of VHS tapes and cassettes. Furniture your grandma would have loved and covered in plastic. The insanely overpriced electronics section was interesting. I mean, who’s in the market for a used VCR for $ 30? I think I bought my DVD player brand new for less than that. But best of all was the children’s section. There were numerous signs posted that warned against stealing and switching price tags because«God is watching.» Can’t you just say don’t steal or be dishonest because it’s wrong? Must we yet again use the invisible man in the sky to try to teach lessons? I know this charity does a lot for the community, but this was probably the worst thrift shop I’ve ever been to.
