Wonderful country buffet with seafood on Friday and Saturday night. Must be 30 or more items on the buffet with fried being 75% of it, there are enough baked items to make anyone happy, O I forgot the boiled shrimp. You will never taste anything fresher than the Feed Sack.

First time since new owners took over — we won’t be back — horrible. We had lunch buffet not enough choice to be called buffet and everything out of can or frozen.

Food was pretty good, lots of FRIED variety. I saw a lot fo heart attack canidates — but their were there at their own risk — not mine. I enjoyed going.

I would be a bigger fan of this place if almost 75% of it was not fried. Yes, the buffet is enormous, but how many people can eat fried catfish, fried shrimp, fried corn fritters, fried steak fingers, and french fries in one sitting without paying for it later? This should be called the«cardiac arrest» buffet. I know we are in Texas, but still. Is there a doctor in the house? The boiled cocktail shrimp was delicious, and they did have a baked potato bar and salad bar. Most of the meat was in the fried state, so I stayed away, but enjoyed the chocolate cobbler(yes, chocolate cobbler!) and peach cobbler. Mmmmm. So if you do go, just be prepared for the fried food bananza.

I really like this place. Good salad bar. Lots of fried fish — I don’t eat. Steamed shrimp really good. Good southern people.

Twenty feet of fried food plus a salad bar! They’ve got it all: Fried catfish Fried butterfly shrimp Fried popcorn fish Fried hushpuppies Fried jalepeno hushpuppies Fried chicken fingers Fried steak fingers(!!!) Fried frog legs Fried green beans Fried mini corndogs And a salad bar! I mean, for $ 14 bucks all-you-can-eat, how could you pass it up? Located next door to city hall. And the Post Office.
