I really enjoy coming here. It’s a low key sports bar that offers great food and drinks. The service is good as well. The hamburger dip is wonderful, and they make great martinis, and also have a good beer selection. I recommend stopping here for a game the tv’s are everywhere!

Wings were good, same crap beers on tap as everyone else and @10:35 the bartender killed the juke box when they close at 11… pretty lame. I will come back to get an accurate Intel on this place. Yeah and like Leo said I must of been there when the«Mortician» was there lol. They also have an exit out the side that is engulfed with shrubs, you think you can go out that way but when you try, you realize that you cannot. I would actually give a 1.5 not a 2

Food isn’t great, seating is uncomfortable and a bad atmosphere. I ordered a grilled cheese with fries, seemed pretty simple. The unfriendly waitress brought it out about 40 min later and the bread was soggy and cheese pretty much slid off the sandwich. I’d skip this place.

We went in for .50 wing night starting at 8 pm. Our waitress was great, very attentive and pleasant. We were a bit surprised when our wings came that they had not been cooked well done like we asked, we did not get blue cheese dressing(we had to ask for it), no celery or carrot sticks and paper plates. We dealt with that, but the icing on the cake was that we did not finish all our wings(probably about 8 left), we asked for take home container and were told sorry we cannot do that its for dine in only. The waitress was kind enough to give us paper plates(2 to be exact), to somehow wrap our wings in, when she gave them to us she said«you did not get these from me». I am sorry but when you have a couple that comes in orders beers in addition to, the management should not be so cheap! We have been in here before and had real glass plates not paper and were able to take leftovers home. I understand if it is dine in only, however, we did DINEIN, but we could not finish and we wanted to take home what we PAIDFOR! This experience has actually made it so that we will not go back! And by looking at the reviews, the owners of this establishment don’t really care, I have not seen one reply from them on the reviews apologizing for how they are towards their customers. I am disgusted!

Nice little family sports bar where you can bring the kiddos and still watch the game. The food is descent but certainly not great, it’s been the same menu since they opened years ago. It’s mostly a fried food place with a couple other items on the menu for good measure. The wings are a good bet and they do have a «hot» wing sauce that’s not too bad though its main flavor is that of Dave’s Insanity… Good beer selection as well as a full bar… Tv’s crammed into every corner which is kinda cool but the main«feature» tv is a mere 46″ or so which leaves allot to be desired as the focal point of a sports bar !!! The owners are very nice people and are frequently on hand to shoot the breeze with… I’d say check it out for yourself.,

It’s a typical sports bar, in that the clientele is greasy sportsketball fans with low brow humor and guts that stick out until next Tuesday. All that can be forgiven, but the food is overpriced and absolutely terrible. The service? Uncoordinated, lazy and inept. The inside smells like an overflowing toilet both times I’ve been in, as other Unilocalers have commented on as well. Throw in the parking lot is so small there are often fender benders, as well as no place to park and you’ll have all the reasons you need to skip it and try somewhere else.

Small family owned place with a lot of smaller TVs. It ain’t that bad though, the service was good I sat at the bar and ordered a burger. The burger was fair at best, the actual meat didn’t have much flavor and the fries were fair at best as well. I am not from Windham, I was just passing through but if I returned I wouldn’t get a burger again.

Yeah. Really bad. It smelt so awful in here we could only stay for one drink. I couldn’t tell if the smell was burning wires, burning rubber, an oven cleaning, the dirty mop bucket in the middle of the floor, or a customers butt wafting through the air. Welp it was $ 8.50 for 2 brews– one of which was a BL draft… So pricier than most. Service was inattentive at best. Ugh, but the smell…

These are the best wings in Southern NH, period. Try the Honey Hot! Although J Michael’s atmosphere is a sports bar that serves food, it is definitely kid friendly. My boys love to go here. The servers are all very friendly, the kid’s meals are all reasonably priced and come with desert, and they get mesmerized by the huge number of TV screens. It’s funny watching a 7 year old boy try to pay attention to 4 games at once… I disagree with reviewers who say that you have to be a regular to get good service. I go here about once every 4 to 6 weeks for my wings fix and don’t consider myself even close to a regular. I’m pretty sure only one bartender there ever recognizes me and I have always experienced great service, even the first time. But seriously, back to the point of this review, these are the best wings in Southern NH, period Chris

Sitting here in the pub right now… Been here for an hour and a half… ordered an hour ago… Still waiting. Also the beer and the soda is all flat.

A nice place with lots of big screen TV’s; someone spent a lot of money on this attractive sports bar. There’s a great selection a bottled beers in the cooler behind the bar. We didn’t experience the food and probably never will. You would think on a rainy Friday night this would be bustling with happy patrons… and then I saw why. Went in for a beer and the place was quiet as a morgue. The Red Sox were playing but no volume on the TV’s… no music playing… the only noise was from one table having a quiet conversation. Dull. The older woman bartender was the mortician. No smile, not welcoming and as friendly as Dr. Mengele about to drill out your front tooth without Novocain. Advice: put someone with a smile and personality behind that bar and you will see business pick up. If you travel 10 minutes into Derry or to Salem you’ll actually encounter places that want your business.

The atmosphere is perfect! Yes, it a pub, but it is centered around family. There is something special to be said about being able to take your kids to a beer and wings establishment without feeling uncomfortable. It is also family owned which is a plus. Both times I have gone the owner has come by the table to check on things and make conversation. The waitresses are friendly and casual. The wings are best in the area! Their sauce is homemade and is pretty good. I had the hottest ones they offer and it was delicious. I have had better wings. I have had hotter wings. But in this area good wings are hard to come by. I highly recommend this place for any local folks looking for good wings and excellent service.

Great wings great prices but if your not part of the«regular» crowd your service will suck. They had new help but drove them out. Lisa the bartender/waitress always has a ‘tude. The cheese/hamburg dip is a keeper. Just change your help. 3 stars. Kids are always welcome. It gets noisy too. They have like 15 TVs also.

Good wings and the best Rueben sandwich I have ever had! 3 stars because the service is painstakingly slow, 30 minute wait for food at a restaurant of this type is too long in my opinion.

Great place to come down, grab some wings, beers, and watch the game. The staff is great and the food is always good. Garlic roast beef sandwhich is my favorite. Always a good time.

In short, I love this place. I’m a big fan of the fish and chips(but can I have sweet potato fries instead?) and the wings(either mild or bbq) are easily the best around. My kids love the mac and cheese bites and burgers, and my friends who eat salad say the chicken cesar is very good. The place is very kid friendly, and the waitresses and/or owner always been accommodating in changing one of the TVs over to a kid-type show. When it really gets busy, expect it can get a little on the loud side, but if you’re looking for casual, friendly, and good food, it’s your place.

This place fills a pretty big void in Southern New Hampshire. It’s a pub, but not the dark and dingy kind of place you’d be afraid to bring your kids to. Indeed, the«family» in the name of the place is not just a word, but an attitude. As a pub, this place is pretty good. They have all the standard pub grub, but augment them with their own special items, like the«hamburger dip» and chips. One of their specialties are their chicken wings, which seem to be very popular, especially on Monday nights, when they have them for a special price. They offer them«Buffalo style» along with other sauces, but to my taste, the«Buffalo» is augmented with a BBQ sauce that tends to skew the taste more toward the sweet, rather than the spicy/salty/vinegary quality of a more traditional wing. The burgers here are pretty good(offered in two sizes). They have an extensive menu of sandwiches as well, including a Roast Beef Bulky(served on garlic bread), and a Slammin’ Steak Sandwich(which happens to be my favorite). They have a selection of deep fried desserts – snickers bar, brownie, and another I cannot recall. These I consider«interesting» but not a mandatory item, although people with a sweet tooth may disagree with me on that. The selection of beers is excellent – about ten drafts and many more in bottles. They have a full bar as well. Televisions everywhere, including the bathrooms. The obligatory sports memorabilia on the wall focuses on local high school/college teams. There is even a «catch a ring on a hook» game for the kids near the entrance, which I constantly see kids attempting to try nearly every time I visit. It’s not gourmet fare, but they don’t pretend to be. It’s just a pub that you should have no difficulty bringing your kids to, and its sports theme makes it a perfect place to bring your team after the game. Recommended.
