Go nowhere else. Why would you? Widest selection, reasonable prices and service with a smile in «clearly audible English» (unlike some of the other stores I have been to)
Ask for a recommendation from one of the guys behind the register for a good unique tasting «bottle of anything». Won’t go wrong. I didn’t.

There can be no doubt this is the most expensively priced liquor store in the market. I personally have shopped 4 brands and there were above the competitors by $ 3-​$ 5. I do not like being called «boss.» And that will not make up for high prices. No axe to grind with these people but the facts are facts. To make matters worse when I asked about price matching the «owner» looked as if I was insulting him. I left and purchased somewhere else. Do your shopping yourself and it will become obvious. Turtle Creek prices are high and you want to pay these prices, your welcome too.
I see no reason to shop there other than selection.
Also noted that my previous review has been deleted – go figure!

Totally surprised to find this on the way to Monroe. Ridiculously good selection of microbrews & «local» wines.
Very fortuitous because we left the wine we were supposed to bring for Thanksgiving at home.

I have family that lives in Auburn down the road from Winder and have been going to visit from Orlando, Florida for years and never saw this place until 2011. This place has THE best selection of craft beer. The guys there (Jeff and another tatted up guy) are awesome people and provide excellent customer service. Old Rasputin here I come!

Best Liquor/​Beer store period. If you live far off, it is worth the drive. Best selections, lowest prices of any surrounding liquor store. Great customer service. Luckily I live just a few miles away.
When it first opened, I chatted with the owners. They said they looked at all the stores in the area to see what was being charged for items. And they wanted to sell their items for less, giving the consumer the best deal possible. And it is true. I have even found mixes & colas in there cheaper than the grocery store.

This beer store ROCKS!!! I have been crying for years to the Five Points Bottle Shop guys in Athens to open a shop in Winder that specializes in GOOD BEER. This is it!
This is the best beer store in Barrow County. It is probably better that all in Gwenette, Hall, and Walton Counties, as well.
*** They rotate stock, so there is always something new in the good beer section. I have NEVER gotten any stale or spoiled beer at this store, which is unheard of for Barrow County.
They specialize in other beverages, too. Just the other day I say I guy buy a $ 500.00 bottle of tequila. A $ 500.00 fifth bottle of tequila. Just Damn!
I get craft kegs from them. I can get torpedo kegs of great beer for $ 55 – 75. That like a buck a beer!!!
If you want a beer that is available in GA, they can usually get it for you. Just ask em. Definitely worth a 20 – 30 minute drive if you love good beer. Tell them Clem Unilocaled ya.
I could do this all day. But instead, it’s barley wine-​thirty. Prost!
