I love this place. I’ve always gotten take out. The food has always been good. You could put the yellow sauce on anything and it would be great!

Love this place! No it is not a full blown restaurant. If you have ever had the original Inoko then you miss the original flavor. This is the same as the original and it shows. The owner was one of the best Hibachi chefs that ever worked at Inoko’s in Athens. The flavor is the same for a fraction of the price! Keep it up!

I enjoy their menu. It’s simple and the serving is a lot. The staff is a bit quiet but overall, professional and consistent in their work. A great location if you want something simple and fast. No actual hibachi grill with a cook that’s cooking right in front of you, but definitely still great tasting quality food.

This turned out to be the wrong inokos. We were expecting habachi style. We did not expect it to be express style. Next time label the sign wrote. Big waste of gas and time.

This Inoko restaurant in Winder, GA is actually Inoko Express, not the full-​blown Inoko Japanese Steakhouse like the one in Athens. So, there are no hibachi grills, no crazy chefs starting fires or performing tricks for you as they cook your food. You place your order with the cashier near the front entrance, pay for your food, and then you find your own seat. You have to fill your own drinks, too. But, they do bring your food out to your table once it’s prepared.
The food is decent enough, I suppose. But the atmosphere is nonexistant. Every table in the place is sticky and the place smells like a pet shop. It could really use a good cleaning. It’s definitely not an ideal place to go for dinner, but it’s a good place to order take-​out.
I’m not sure why the owners decided to go with this format — the place could’ve been much bigger and much nicer — like the one in Athens. There aren’t a lot of places in Winder to sit down for a meal, unless you like fast food, and this place ranks just a tad bit above the run-​of-​the-​mill fast food joints in Winder.

When you walk in you order your food then sit and wait for it to be brought to your table. Not much atmosphere so if you’re looking for a fancy restaurant where the will cook in front of you, this isn’t it. The food is fast, fresh and at a decent price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food itself was simple, no crazy off the wall dishes. While I probably wouldn’t visit all the time, it was a nice change of pace. You should check it out.
