Big fan of The Chimneys right here. The terrain has enough elevation shifts to keep things interesting, the layout isn’t punitive, and it is challenging.
The greens do leave a little something to be desired. I don’t know much about turf maintenance, but it looks like the mowers scrape too hard. The greens are *very* sandy so your putting better be up to par.
For the prices available and the always-interesting randos I get paired up with, I’ll take it. Give it at least one shot.

The Chimneys Golf course is a weekend golfers paradise. The course is short and the greens don’t break much. There are multiple holes that if you get hold of one you can drive the greens and even if you take a cut at it you have a lot of bail out room.
Not a bad little course for the money. The clubhouse leaves a little to be desired but serves the purpose.

Several years ago I purchased a $ 100. gift card for my brother for Christmas. Three months later Chimneys would not honor the gift card, saying they were now under new ownership, and were not honoring any previous gift cards. My brother explained that he had only received the card three months prior. They didn’t care.
What bad customer service.
I would never recommend Chimneys to anyone.
