The Daisy Dairy Bar is a totemic example of 50s Americana and it is the fucking bees knees. My grandparents used to come here on their anniversary and if that isn’t one of the most adorable and down-home things you read today then shame on you. Go there and eat everything.

Family owned and has been for a long time, good food — better then fast food.

Cheap, good and quick service. This place would remind you of any drive in hot dog/hamburger stand. The food was fantastic. I got a cheeseburger and onion rings… yum! The chicken nuggets my nephew reluctantly gave up to me were also delicious. You can’t go wrong at this location.

I visited this place by accident and I’m glad I did. We had a great meal and everything we had was really good. You need to try the cheesesteak and don’t forget the sausage sauce. So yourself a favor and get here if you are ever in the area.

I really wanted to like this place! It’s my kind of joint for this Mom & Pop genre of eateries. But I was pretty disappointed. No meat in the clams — factory processed onion rings all looking exactly the same — fried cod was pretty eh — chili dog was edible, but nothing at all exceptional. I should also say that the place was quite busy with what I perceived to be a lot of regulars. I should also note that there were a great many things on the menu that I did not taste including ice cream. From what I counted, I would estimate that approximately 13 of the people there we’re getting hot food, and approximately 23 were there for the ice cream.

My friends and I love going here for lunch or dinner. They have the best ice cream sundaes!

I love visiting this place when I visit family in PA. They have great homemade soup, a good pork roll, it’s clean and friendly, oodles of choices and make very good sundaes. The Dusty Road is yummy with all that malt powder and the CMP is delicious with no skimping on the chocolate, marshmallow or peanut. They have family packs, tons of fried food, lots of regional sandwich favorites, platters and more simple plates too. Plenty of parking, close to the freeway exit and the Wind Gap shopping area(small as that may be) and it’s a very pleasant way to pass a meal. Indoor and outdoor tables available. The website is

A frequent stop when out motorbiking. The burgers are ok-a bit overpriced, but the fries are really good. Their ice cream is smooth and creamy and I generally like stopping here. It is a frequent stop for bikers.
