Another delicious meal. We found Wyld Thyme while searching for rehearsal dinner venues in Winchester VA. We have had two dinners there and plan to have more prior to the wedding. Delicious food, generous portions, quaint atmosphere. I wish we lived closer. Worth the hr drive

Always had a good experience here. The menu is on the smaller side, but should have something to please everyone. I’ve enjoyed both fish and pork dishes. Their homemade soups have also been very good. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a quiet, upscale dining experience in Winchester.

This is my third review of Wyld Thyme over a three year period. First was a 5, second a 3 and now, unfortunately, a 1. We travel to Winchester once a year for business, hence, the sporadic reviews. Three years ago the menu was varied, the staff and owner attentive and the food was exciting and wonderfully prepared. Last year we were disappointed but thought maybe it was an off night, thus our return this time. We were the only guests at 8pm which should be a busy time. The bottle of wine we ordered was out of stock. The menu was uninspired. My salmon was slightly, not terribly, overcooked with a so-so sauce. My companion ordered chicken breast which was also slightly overdone and heavily salted. The vegetables were well overdone and soggy. As we were the only table being served I asked how the chef(cook?) could not have delivered 100% attention to our meals. Even the waitress, though polite and well intentioned, admitted to having to ask for ‘wine protocol’ as to when to fill our glasses. If you feel this was a long review, fear not. You won’t be reading another one on this restaurant from me.

Horrible. Salad was overdressed with bagged croutons, steak was mid-well when ordered mid-rare, PLASTIC utensils given for mussels, fish was cooked to death, both mains were over-sauced, and we were the only party in the restaurant(11÷2÷13). Were told there was no cappuccino yet they had espresso? Owner did not even acknowledge our presence and our server ignored us. Hostess was snotty even though we made reservations — stupid us. They will be out of business in no time. If you’re in Creekside, do yourself a favor and eat at The Butchers.

I was very excited about trying the food at Wild Thyme Café. However, we arrived at 2:12pm on a Wednesday afternoon only to be informed by a snooty waitstaff that the dining room closes for lunch at 2pm(seems a bit early to me). The elitist vibe leads us to wonder whether or not we will give it another chance.

I met a friend here for lunch this week and it was my first time there. The staff and owners are very friendly. Service was top notch and the food was even better. I had the whole grain pasta with a spinach chipolte sauce and house made sausage. It had just the right amount of spice for me — I like spicy foods — and it was excellent. I had no idea this place has been in Winchester for four years. Best kept secret in town.
