The Wooden Crate

The money I spend on The Wooden Crate are some of the best dollars I spend all week. I love coming home on Thursdays to see what delicious goodies are waiting for me. The ingredients usually include fresh, humanely raised meat, fresh produce and some yummy, locally-​baked treats — plus a recipe on how to put it all together. It’s enough to put on appetizer, main dish and dessert for 4 – 6 people, so we often entertain on Friday nights to put our delivery to good use. Or, If it’s just the two of us and our toddler, we get two meals plus leftovers… plus enough extra produce that I can come up other creative ways to put it to use. Also love that you can add things a la carte to your order, like fresh milk and eggs. As a working mom, I love the convenience of home delivery, and it’s definitely got our whole family thinking more about eating sustainably and locally. Great service!
