This place sucks! Period! They have an excuse for everything… and guess what… it’s never their fault.

I normally don’t review chain restaurants, but occasionally will if it really stands out. Unfortunately, the few times chain restaurants have stood out to me have been due to how terrible a particular franchise was. Today I was up in Winchester & decided to try out their month-old new Taco Bell. Upon entering, it took several minutes for someone to even come up to the counter to take my order. I informed the cashier that I’d like a chalupa supreme w/beans, no meat. She punched it in to the register & then asked, «Beef, steak, or chicken?» I then said again, in the same tone, «Beans, no meat,» to which she said, «Oh yeah, sorry.» Must be on autopilot w/her speech. As we were placing the order, the only other customer came up to complain that his quesadilla wasn’t cooked. This warranted getting another person to confirm that the cheese was indeed not melted, after they asked the customer a few times what was wrong with the food. To which, he pulled the thing open to display the non-melted cheese. The cook let him have that one & made him a new one. While making it, she was yelling back and forth to the other workers that ‘this cheese ain’t meltin!’ When our food was ready, the cook got our order wrong as well, & thus we ended up with an extra free chalupa. Chicken chalupas & a bean chalupa don’t sound anything like bacon club chalupa, but OK… I also had to hunt down my rice side order. Adding to the fun of being back in the country was the TV playing Fox News(Who can eat when Glenn Beck’s on?) clashing & fighting aurally w/the fairly loud speakers blaring bad 80’s music. I understand it’s Taco Bell & therefore not great, but the place is barely a month old & they’re still screwing everything up?
