The previous reviews are not relevant since T&K is under new ownership with all new employees as well as additional amenities such as wifi and soothing free massage while nails are drying. Ask for Sam but all the employees are great. It is a relaxing enjoyable experience at T&K nails. Enjoy.

I like the Tuesday discount, but I have to say i was dissapointed with how quickly my nails chipped. I will definitely get gel next time and I would only go on a discount day. Staff was nice and patient though and the place does not smell horrendous.

I’ve been here a few time, most recently about 2 weeks ago — and it’s still terrible. I’m surprised they’ve lasted this long in Winchester Center. Pedicure lasted about 3 days before 3 toes started to chip away. The tech was way too rough, she cut the side of my foot and it wouldn’t stop bleeding. Then, another woman was getting one done and let out a loud «OUCH!», and it was the same tech, this time cut the woman on the bottom of the foot and it was BAD, tons of bleeding. Also very pushy in there trying to get you to upgrade. I gave it 3 shots, I’m out.

here was my review in 2011: love love love T&K. _​Great fast work and the place doesn’t smell of toxins. very clean and just love these guys. give them a try you will not regret it!
Here is my review December 2014– 3 YEARS LATER
boy was i shocked at how DIRTY this place has become… fingerprints everywhere, NO insert trays for the foot tubs. I saw dirt and junk under the mats that roll over the ends of the foot tubs. broken massage chairs. needs a serious cleaning and coat of new paint. so sad. really what happened?
I should have left but i felt bad for the woman working on me. she was sweet and working hard for her pay but SHAME ON THE OWNER (S)! it is too dirty for me to return. You guys need to spend some money on new interior and equipment. but you are a cash business so I get it!

This place is by far the dirtiest, worst nail salon I have been to in 2 years. I went in to have gel removed and have gel put on. The woman couldn’t get my gel off and left the nails rough like sandpaper when she was about to apply the paint. I stopped her and told her to add more remover to get the remainder off and buff them and at this point she started to get pissed off. I stopped her even painting and she still wanted $ 17 for removal of gel she didn’t get off! NEVER will I step into this place again and it has reaffirmed why I drive from lexington to Brighton to get my nails done.
Don’t waste your time, money or memory on this place– it really does suck.

Decided to get a quick mani and try this place out. Their color selection isn’t that great. After she had painted two coats, I noticed that the sides of my nails had no polish on them and asked her if she could fill it in. She decided to paint all my nails with a third coat making my nails look thick. And on top of that the top coat made them look thicker. It’s been 45 minutes and I am still getting dents in the polish from the thickness. Technique is not their best

I had gone to T&k nails for a full set of acrylics and it was horrible! I have never been somewhere so bad. I was dragged here by my mother and I went along with her to get my nails done. They completely botched my nails, I showed the owner Kim TWO pictures of what I wanted and she got the length wrong and the shape wrong I was so mad. I immediately left and called for another appointment at Exotic Nails in North Reading which is where I usually go to get my nails done. I’m still mad. DO NOT GO HERE!

Honestly, First time i went there i was extremely dissapointed i got Acrylics and got french they did a horrible job painting them and withing 3 days they all fell off. acrylics usually last for me 2 weeks. Well from there it lasted 3 days. Than six months latter i decided to give another try got a Gel mani, Dissapointed Again worse paint job ever even my little 4 year old could paint it better ! Waste of money! they are rude and the lady wouldn’t stop looking inside my purse! And my nails were completely dried since it was Gel she got my wallet out my hands and opened for me with out even my permission ! DONT GO THERE unless you want shitty looking nails.

I agree with all the positive reviews: clean, great colors, long-​lasting. Definitely my «go-​to» place for a pedicure.
Bonus: Little Thompson Street is fun to wander around if you’ve never been to Winchester: get a Thai tea at Imari across the street, visit all the cute boutiques, and BookEnds is the heart and soul of Winchester.

Not good service. Very rushed. Ladies that do nails all gossip about clients in front of them. I had nails shellacked… when I went to have it removed, Kim polished them off instead of soaking them… which I didnt know is how they are supposed to be done… She left some of the gel on and it looked terrible… I told her to take it ALL off and she didn’t. Twice Kim smudged my nails while having them done and she didnt want to take the polish off and redo it… she just went over it with another coat so it looked too think and smudged again. She got VERY snippety when I demanded she redo it. It’s all about getting to the next customer… quality is not important. Will not go back.

I’ve been to many, many places to get my nails done and this is perhaps the best place i’ve been to in a long time. It was recommended to me by everyone from the area and I am glad I checked it out! The place is immaculate and the employees there take there time unlike the other nail salons. Every time that I do get my nails done there (which is frequently) they last for at least a week! Other places that i’ve been to chip within 2 – 3 days! Their techniques plus their high end products is why they probably last longer. Not many places own or use a machine to spray on the french which is why this place got 5 stars from me. Their french manicures are a perfection because they actually know how to use the damn machine! If you want friendly staff and quality service, I highly recommend them! I also suggest you call in to book an appointment because it can get busy. Ask for Kim, she’s is my favorite and is the most experienced there!
