Hot ceylon chai latte — Somewhere between«Meh I’ve experienced better» and«A-OK» Picked the ceylon over the rooibos chai because I was told the ceylon would have a stronger chai flavor. I didn’t think the chai came through very well. Although I had the latte made with whole milk, it tasted/felt like skim milk — I thought it was a bit watery. I’m obsessed with chai lattes and basically order them whenever I see one. Had high hopes for this one, but simply was not impressed. Went to their location in Boston Public Market where the service was super friendly and I felt like the barista truly cared about making my drink(the tradeoff being that there is no rush so it can be a little slow)

I met some lovely ladies from Soluna Garden Farm last week at SoWa Open Market in Boston and I purchased the Moroccan Mint tea and the Mediterranean Blend Spice. I have been using the spice on my roasted vegetables and it has been a great addition to my recipes! I am in love with the tea and the spice and look forward to purchasing more spices and teas in the future!

We discovered Soluna Garden Farms by way of one of the winter farmer’s markets we go to, and their goods(spices, spice blends, and teas) are fabulous. Then, much to my delight, we discovered that a) they were opening a store nearby and b) offering an herb CSA! We’ve gotten two shares so far, and both have been excellent — super fresh, good quality, and a nice mix(for us) of familiar and new herbs. We tend to cook/can/preserve quite a bit, and we have a dehydrator, so we plan to use every scrap of herbs we get. Looking forward to exploring all the herby goodness this season. They also offer a flower CSA — we’ve gotten a bouquet of flowers from there(in a cute mason jar), and if this is any indication of the quality(amazing), the flower CSA would be well worth it.
