Best bacon Cheese Burger on the Lake! I routinely take my clients to the Hard Dock Café for lunch while on guide trips… the staff is always professional and very nice. If you are looking for a place to stay they have the best cabins on the lake with direct access to the marina and fishing. During the summer they have live music and a great outdoor eating area.

Went hiking for half the day at Tim’s Ford state park and we were starving afterward. We were not crazy about driving all the way back into town. Found this place driving past the marina. Cute place on the lake and a huge outdoor dock eating area. Scenery is beautiful and they said they have live entertainment occasionally. Typical southern grille and café food, but good. They have a convenience store inside too. They are open from May through Sept daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For the type of food, it’s top notch. They brag about the cheeseburger on their site and rightfully so. Awesome burger. Fries were crispy but not burnt. More importantly, NOT over salted. Cole slaw was cool and crispy and not drowning in dressing.
Service was very friendly and prompt. So glad we found this little place on the lake but off the beaten path! So perfect for a quick bite or to unwind outdoors. We will be back.
