Belk of Apple Blossom Mall

This is a review of the Lancome cosmetics counter at Belks. On 20 Feb I went to Belks to purchase Lancome foundation. They had to order it to be shipped to my home as they did not have my shade in stock. No problem. While I was there, I signed up for the free 7 piece gift set offered to those who made a purchase over $ 35. Again, no problem. As of today, 08 Mar, I still have not received the foundation. In tracking the shipment I see that it has been everywhere except to my home address. I called the Lancome counter at Belks today and was told a manager would call me back. While I was speaking with a Lancome rep, I took the opportunity to ask when I could come in and pick up the gift set. I was advised that my name did not appear on their gift set list. The staff at the Lancome Cosmetic counter at Belks are inept at best — do NOT buy your Lancome products at this store — look elsewhere for better customer service. You deserve it for the money you pay for Lancome.

I grew up in Charlotte, NC, ground zero for all things Belk.
Moving to NoVa, you’re limited on your Belk options.
This location is scaled down.
They have a decent selection of men’s clothes.
They carry Nautica, Polo and Izod but no Hillifiger.

Meh. Limited childrens’ section. It was REALLY hot in there and it felt like no air was moving. That’s the quickest way to make me cranky and to get me out of your store very quickly.

Its a Macy’s without any of the pretentiousness or cool factor.
Its got everything you need and more in a department store. Well-​stocked and ready for holiday sales.
I would say that it has the least favorable stand-​alone store positioning in that mall. JC Penny’s and Sears seem to be better-​situated and have more activity rihgt outside their entrances to draw traffice in.

This is a «shop for mom» store. It mostly carries clothes and accessories middle-​aged women enjoy
