Great service, food is delicious and large portions. Waitress was Shonda. She is amazing thanks for the awesome service!

Excellent breakfast! Fast, courteous and clean. Husband ordered veggie egg white omelet then threw them a curve requesting salsa. No problem, it came with golden browned home fries and he was happy! I saw cheese blintzes on the menu with blueberry and sour cream. I have never actually had these before and YUM! Simply said but never simple in delivery: Great Coffee! Back on the road and content!

We never regret stopping here! Lots of choices and the food really good. If you like diners don’t miss the apple blossom diner. The spanakopita is a smart choice, large portion too! Friendly staff, clean restrooms.

I’m so glad we found this place! The food is delicious and the servings are huge! I wish I would have taken pictures before we dug into our meals! The chicken was all white meat! They even offer coupons in the paper! The service was great!

I went to this local diner because of a 50⁄50 coupon I had purchased. I was surprised, they have a very large menu with about everything you can think of. All the dishes I saw being served looked generous in size. There was a small line to be seated which is usually a good sign. The décor is pretty plain and could probably use some help. the place was clean the service was good. We ordered burgers and sandwiches, all which were oversized and delicious. If you like diners this one is worth a visit.

We have visited Apple Blossom Diner several times in the last year. The food and service has generally been adequate. This morning the Apple Blossom Diner failed miserably. We arrived for breakfast about 9:15 and it took an hour for our meals to arrive. On top of the delay the food was cold. The excuse provided was they had people call in sick, however, except for our overwhelmed server there was no one who seemed to be picking up the slack. The overall attitude was lackadaisical and very much«Oh well«. It’s hard to mess up breakfast but Apple Blossom Diner has guaranteed we will not be coming back.

I am always apprehensive about local diners. They are always hit or miss. This experience was definitely a hit for my family. I got the grilled cheese on rye with bacon and French fries. Again, playing it safe. I’ll admit it. I was not expecting this! The bacon was crispy, the fries were seasoned and cooked to(in my opinion) perfection. And the rye bread was incredible. I was very impressed. My uncle ordered the shrimp basket. They do NOT kid around with those. The basket was piled high with fries and shrimp. He is normally one to eat his entire meal, but he couldn’t finish it this time. All in all this was a very pleasant experience and they made a great first impression. I suppose if there was something I HAD to critique, it would be the temperature. It was cold in here. But our service and food were excellent and we had a great lunch.

Food is good but I received(NOKIDDING) a tablespoon of coleslaw with my meal. Don’t expect a refill on lemonade! If they put ice in the glass you get a 6 ounce serving for $ 2.25. I will go someplace else in the future where greed isn’t on the menu!!!

Looked on Unilocal for suggestions on where to eat lunch on our travel Back home. After looking at the reviews we were wondering if we should even try the«Apple Blossom Diner». We decided we would, & we were sure glad we did! Cute clean little diner. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. We ordered the cheeseburger & fries and it was very filling and tasted great! I give it a thumbs up for sure.

I am going to do a short honest review from me with my mother and her husband. The chocolate milkshake(good size, not large) and crab meat benedict(amazing with lots of lump crab) were very delicious as was the french toast(made from french bread) with powdered sugar, whipped butter, and side syrup. The sausage gravy is more creamy than chunky sausage and should maybe be a dollar or two cheaper, but good. Coffee, sausage links, eggs, and home fries were standard good diner quality. The host should alert the waitstaff sooner, but we had time to read the whole 3 page menu and order beverages along with the food. Nice looking large space and Katie was a pleasant and attentive server.

Apple Blossom Diner transformed this location from a dark and dingy chain establishment into a bright and warm family restaurant. The owners are very attentive to details. The food has always been excellent and the portions are unbelievable in quantity — A+. Overall the staff is out of this world friendly. The only issue we’ve ever had was with one waitress who was imitating a hostess. She is so «high strung» and non-attentive, she screwed up the order for a carry-out resulting in a major delay when I arrived to pick it up. The plus side is she won’t last long with her attitude. On a side note, customers can find coupons for this excellent restaurant on the back of the local Martin’s Food Store receipts. The savings are worth the clipping. Bottom line, try Apple Blossom Diner. You’ll enjoy the experience.

Decided to try something new for breakfast. I ordered my crab cake eggs Benedict. I waited about 25 minutes. The waitress was eating and chatting with other coworkers. When she finally brought my food she even tells me she forgot about me. Then the food was so flavorless and SMOTHERED in hollandaise sauce. I had to add lots of salt to even taste anything. I won’t be back and I’ll stick with Papermill.

It is a very standard diner. There are no surprises here. All the food is fine. Nothing is great, nothing is horrible. The servers are friendly and the prices are reasonable. It is not worth a drive but if you live in the area, it is worth an occasional stop when you don’t feel like cooking.

Second time visiting this place. Food is good if you can actually get it in a timely manner. Waitress took 10 minutes to come to my table, both times I visited. I ordered the same thing I always get when eating out for breakfast(two eggs sunnyside, bacon, biscuits with gravy.) Both times my bill was over $ 14. There was a miscellaneous charge on my ticket for $ 1.50, asked what it was and they said it was biscuits. So on the ticket I was also charged $ 4.00 for gravy. Then on top of that I was charged $ 6.95 for 2 eggs and bacon. The first time I went and paid that, I thought they just messed up the bill. They wouldn’t work with me. The second time, I should have known better. I will go back to my usual spot, will not be going back there.

Service was good, attentive and courteous. The place was clean. Food was OK — standard diner food — but I can only speak to breakfast kinda’ dishes. There are some Greek items on the menu, and a big tray of baklava sitting by the register covered in saran wrap, which struck me as a bit odd.

We were pulling into the Five Guys parking lot and saw this place. Supporting local business instead? You betcha! Let’s give it a shot, we said… And when we walked in, we saw yummy looking pies and desserts in a glass case and thought, this was a good idea. We were wrong. Our server was friendly and attentive(she even made Welcome Back Kotter jokes). The food wasn’t as friendly. We ordered the fried shrimp basket with french fries and the meatloaf with beet and mashed potatoes(without gravy). I asked that if they couldn’t substitute my coleslaw(they couldn’t) they just not bring it to the table. Minutes later, the waitress brought out our coleslaw and(cold pickled) beets. Okay… One minor mistake bringing coleslaw we asked not to get, that’s fine. We didn’t touch the coleslaw, and I tasted one beet and it was the straight-out-of-a-can variety, so we let those sit and waited for the main event: our entrees. Weeeell… Remember those days in school when well-meaning hairy-chinned cafeteria ladies tried to get you to eat Mystery Meat? So the food was pretty much like that. Yep. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were covered in gravy, despite our request to the contrary, but the gravy was actually beaded with moisture as though the meal had been plated, refrigerated, and reheated in a microwave. My husband took a couple of bites and declared that it was every bit as bad as the food at his military school mess hall. Even the mashed potatoes were bad(I tasted them myself, and they were abysmal). My fried shrimp did resemble shrimp in shape and texture, but not taste, and I’m not even sure how they messed up the clearly frozen french fries. The waitress came back because she remembered that there wasn’t supposed to be gravy on my husband’s meal(another waitress had delivered the food), and she offered to have the meal redone without gravy — though at that point it was clear that the gravy was clearly hiding the meatloaf, and we didn’t want to see it any more clearly. We told her not to worry about that, and though we clearly weren’t satisfied with our food, she wandered off. My husband began eating the bland shrimp from my dish out of sheer desperation. Several minutes later, the waitress returned and asked if he didn’t like his meal; when he politely said it wasn’t to her tastes, she said she was sorry to hear that and she hoped it wasn’t because of the gravy. She didn’t offer us something else or ask how to fix it — and he had left the food largely untouched. The bill wasn’t awful — about $ 25 — but the food was just so wretched that we could’ve done better at McDonalds.

Not a big fan of this place. The service was slow and our waitress walked by our table numerous times before she greeted us. For an average of $ 15 a person, the food was very bland and a big let down.

Stopped in to try it. We frequent dinners in MD so we had high hopes and we were not disappointed. Very clean and welcoming place. Great staff! Friendly, attentive… what more could you want. Good was a good portion and made to order. We will be back for the perfectly cooked delicious food.

Just out for a Sunday drive with the family and we found the Apple Blossom diner. I was not so sure going in, but after being seated and waited on quickly, I began to feel a little more at ease with my expectations. It was breakfast time and the menu was full of options, but I would like to see better options for with speciality pancakes(you have to order extras if you order the speciality pancakes). The coffee and juice were surprisingly really great, I had to order another OJ. My daughter ordered the Eggs Benedict w/grits, her first experience. Let me be the first to say that when I saw her grits I had to try them because they looked SOOO good, and they were. OMG, the best darn grits I have had in a long long while. Whew! Yes indeedy! Along with my breakfast of Blueberry Pancakes, sauage and egss I had to order some grits for myself! They were smooth, buttery and creamy! YUM, not to down play the other food we had because everything was great, but I was really pleasantly surprised. Our service was super nice and very attentive. Which is very appreciated as a customer. We plan to take another trip that way before the end of this month and many more after the weather gets better. Loved it!

Came back for lunch twice during the past 2 weeks. Service was fine and the food was tasty. The burgers are generously sized and look fresh made(not frozen, pre-shaped patties). I tried the shrimp salad sandwich. It was perfect — plump, perfectly cooked shrimp, lightly dressed with mayo and bits of celery. We couldn’t pass on dessert. When you walk into the restaurant, there is the dessert case, full of homemade pies and cheesecakes! We had the chocolate cream pie and the cheesecake with peanut butter and chocolate — delicious!
