I am a local and have probably been here 30+ times. I have seen great improvements over the years. Try the Texas Pasta, one of my favorites, or the shrimp. I almost always sit at the bar for instant service.

We were in town for the day and wanted to try some place local so we decided to try CCC. It is this cute mom and pop style restaurant that has small town written all over it. They had an interesting drink menu and a great happy hour. Dorothy was our waitress and provided us great service and was super awesome. I had the chicken fried steak which was pretty good and I shared the chocolate satin pie for dessert with my boyfriend for dessert. It’s in the cutest location and I can see myself coming back if I’m ever in town!

Just realized the Cypress Café has a bar in the back with an outdoor patio! Delicious drinks and eclectic atmosphere! Love the chandelier with rope lights and CDs!

This place was extremely disappointing!!! The food was Absolutely Terrible. We came with a party of 8, no one liked their food! The wings were soggy and over cooked! The CFC was Over beaded with a tiny slice of chicken inside, cold gravy, cold soup, nasty fatty meat! I should have taken some pictures! Waitress was really nice and cheese dip app was good but that’s about it! Don’t eat here it’s a big waste of money!!!

A great night outside at the Buzzard Bar. The band was inside to it wasn’t too loud(we could have a conversation) — great service. It was really busy with pretty much all tables taken but the waitress was very attentive and quick with our drinks. We only had apps but they were fine. A reasonable night out with live music and great service. Will try again soon for a real meal.

The café sits right in the midst of the festive square, but it still feels like the country when you step in the door. The décor is rustic and the vibe is small town Texas, though there were some dressed up couples in attendance as well. If you’re lucky, a band will be playing on their indoor stage, because you practically step right onto the dance floor. One of my favorite Austin bands plays here fairly regularly, and there was a full house that night, dancing country style, and sitting at the surrounding rails on barstools or at the indoor tables. It’s loud enough inside to make you want to get up and dance, but not too loud to have a conversation or to require earplugs. No cover that evening. They were serving dinner and appetizers pretty late into the evening, along with beer, wine, and cocktails. Our server was friendly and efficient and seemed to be assigned to the entire room, bless her heart. The outside patio had a lot of patrons at the tables there, as well. Seems like a popular local hangout. The food is good and the menu has some variety. They have a separate menu for beer and wines, most of which are offered by the bottle or glass, so ask if you don’t see it. Public parking is available in their lot or at a nearby group lot.

One of my favorite places to visit when in Wimberley, love the patio and menu! Thanks Cypress Creek Café.

Generally ok, basic American food — you’d never drive to Wimberley just to eat here, but the food isn’t bad. What is bad is the service; long waits for everything; clueless or rude or disinterested waitstaff; varies depending on who you get. My favorite one was when we arrived 20 minutes before closing one night, sat down, and were ignored for 15 minutes straight. Finally got up to ask for a menu only to be told«we’re closing in 5 minutes and can’t». Pay attention to what appears on your bill; have had a couple of incorrect checks that came with items ordered by other tables. Don’t sit outside on the back patio unless you like lots of cigarette smoke.

Their food is very, very good. Everything form the salmon, to their sandwiches, to their comfort food. All delicious. My husband and I love their summer sangria. Ambiance is lively, pet and kid friendly. They are everything you wish to see in a Wimberley restaurant. Unfortunately the service is not as good as their food. We are locals and love their food, but unfortunately we have been left waiting with no service several times in the back patio area, so bad that we have to go looking for someone to help us instead of the other way around. 20 minutes without anyone coming to the table can be quite heartbreaking. I am not sure if it is the fact that we are young, or just the way we look. Having worked in the restaurant industry for many, many years; we are aware and understand the stereotyping that comes with being a minority, but it just sucks every time. To be fair, their is a lovely waitress in the front indoor part of the restaurant that thankfully remembers us and treats us like people. If I could remember her name I would do a big shout out, because she is the main reason we keep coming back. Love, Love, Love their food. Costumer service could improve.

I ride up through the hills often and have stopped by this restaurant for lunch a couple of time lately. Their prices and meals are good. Their service is too, so you should give them a try, next time you are in their neck of the woods.(My onion rings and Chicken Fried Steak were good!)

Wait staff is exceptional. The bar manager Aaron, could use a lesson in customer service to say the least. The waitress came out and explained that he had pulled a disc in his back, trying to apologize for his rude behavior. If I didn’t have to come here for a party, where our group spent hundreds of dollars, I would never come here again. A total locals only bar with total disregard for those who chose to spend their hard earned money in their small town establishment from out of town. It’s a real shame that our family choses to spend our hard earned money at this antiquated establishment year after year.

Dog Friendly! Food, staff & atmosphere is great! Vacationed in Wimberley and ate here several times. Our little dog Diego loved the outdoor patio. They brought him a bowl of water & were super dog friendly.

So sorry to bother your waitstaff. Asking for menus after 5 minutes of sitting was apparently a huge bother. He actually rolled his eyes at our table. We asked for another server. Sdly it made no difference. 30 minutes after placing our order the chips and salsa hadn’t even found us. When we asked the server what was taking so long; «if your foods not ready by 2 o’clock, we’ll box it up.» It was 1:15. Unacceptable. Rude waiters. 30 minute ticket times. And the«owner» was a total *$$. Get it together people. Just get you act together.

I’ve always heard great rumors of this establishment, but I have to say, I am shocked and saddened by their treatment of a gay couple that entered and sat at the bar on 2÷28÷16. Despite what the reviews state on the food, the treatment of their clientele, whatever orientation, is completely unacceptable!!! I will never step foot in there and recommend the same for those with REAL values.

Food was fantastic! Queso and salsa was just spicy enough to be interesting but not to hot for the family and the chips were thick and hearty which I really like. Quesadillas, tacos, prime rib and the Texan sandwich were all big hits with the family. To top it off the chocolate cake was a winner even though we had to bring it home because everyone was to full to tackle it when we finished. The best thing was the service. Great experience tonight at the cypress Creek Café.

Food is good, service can be improved. I asked for a tortilla soup and it was cold as hell, my grill chicken was very good, the asparagus were great and the baked potato was Ok. Maybe it was because it was almost time to close, but they took forever to take our check.

I really like this café. It’s very authentic in décor and located in the quaint town square or Wimberly Texas — a place known for its hospitality. The food is Good. Not sure why I’m surprised, but was also glad they were open on New Year’s Day. I had the chicken strips(crunchy and fresh) with a side of Devil’s Breath Ghost Chili sauce for dipping. Holy score Batman! I did have to sign a waiver to eat it, but I’m used to that by now(see Chunky’s in SA review. Lol) I was able to bring the sauce home and am putting it on everything. I’ll definitely be back.
