Pow Nursery

Pow is a great nursery/​grower. I always head home with a bounty. I’ve never had trouble with service, but they will not babysit you. If you are high maintenance, you should adjust your needs. You will eaisly save 30% — 40% by shopping here.

This was the first time my husband and I visited this nursery. My Mom had been here so she recommended it. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is helpful, very hardworking and knowledgable. We went to look for the quince and ended up getting one lemon tree for $ 10, two blue cedars for $ 13 each, one Li Chinese date $ 40, red Quince $ 4.

Really cheap prices but the service sucks! The plants have mushrooms in the pots and here’s the worst part. There’s a man there who will point you in all the wrong directions and give you incorrect information on the trees. He’s clearly annoyed at even being asked a question in the first place. So rude!
Also, they hardly have labels on any of the plants, so you’re left guessing at every plant. And the guy insists they’re all labeled. NO THEY’RE NOT!
One last thing, my foot sunk 4 inches into a mud pile out there. It’s impossible to avoid if you want to see down any of their isles.
But! The prices are unbeatable, so I’ll be back :)

This place is ridiculously awesome! They have trees up the wazoo and on the cheap! If you hit up their website, you can do even better!
My girl and I went here on the advice of a fellow customer at Green Acres, likely the archnemesis of this place. They told us this place had plants on the cheap. Boy was she right.
When we first showed up, it was clear this place was hardcore: four Ford-​tough trucks and a couple «in-​the-​know» couples looking for some sweet pollen generators. Don’t mind the Corolla guys, it had handle gravel.
The place is huge. Enormous selection of trees and plants. Owner or whoever helped us was super knowledgeable. I’m definitely going back when I buy my house.
One star for the gianormous selection. Two stars for the prices. Three stars because this is clearly a respected business in this area. Four stars for knowledgeable staff.
Two complaints: this place is definitely off the beaten path and has only a little bit of shade. Don’t go when you’re hot or when gas prices would defeat the purpose.

One of my favorite nurseries! They have a huge selection and really good prices. There is a pretty Lilly pond on the grounds, and a friendly dog too :) The owners are very helpful and friendly.
