I decided on a night cap being trapped at work for 3 nights in a row and at home-cabin fever developed. I enjoy the pub from time to time since it quite often offers a very relaxing environment. Not to pushy when it comes to people and not much of who’s who. I find the bartenders very approachable and yet friendly. The bar itself has two large Bars with a small dance floor in the middle that offers a pole that you could twirl around. With enough drinks you’ll find yourself having fun with the pole. Though they don’t have a music box to pick songs you can slip a napkin to the DJ to play a few tracks in which he plays the tracks and the video comes up on all the screens which I think is fabulous. The drinks are pretty reasonable not the best with taste value but bearable. They have two large restrooms which is pretty nice and there isn’t an annoying attendant waiting for tips to give you a paper towel as the other bars have this ridiculous option. This bar also offers a small outdoor area in the front of the bar outside and in the back of the bar in which you can sit out and enjoy some fresh air. The bar though can use a definite upgrade and some remodeling and hopefully in the future this will be the plan. The clientele that comes to the bar are usually an older crowd mixed with some mid 30s to 40s… Which is good on the maturity level. Overall this is a nice bar to visit for a couple cocktails and to enjoy the music.

Place sucks! Too much to say… I wouldn’t spend a dime in a place like this. Go to Alibi.

After dinner, my friend and I where trying to find a hot bar to get a cold drink and we stumbled in here and it was packed left and right, front to back with guyz. And best of all, they were playing 70’s hits and I was in LOVELOVELOVE. And to make it even better, they had moscow mules and the real ones in the real mugs. kudos to them! The music was loud but not over powering so my friend and I were able to talk which was cool. It is not a huge place but it does have two bars, a dance floor and even a stage… where men are actually allowed to get on it(not like the straight bars, prudes) However, at one point at about 7 p.m. everyone was gone and to later find out they went to a bar across the street. and of course after we finished, we followed suit! I dug this place a lot for a Sunday night and to be so busy at 6 p.m. I would go back.

I stopped by this place briefly during a visit to Ft. Lauderdale. There was a lot going on, but none of it interested me. I don’t want to dissuade anyone from visiting, it just wasn’t for me.

Probably the best bar on the Wilton Drive strip. Great crowd, good bar staff and decent prices. A win all around

For a fun night out this place worked for us. It certainly isn’t a «pub» as the title would elude, but who cares, if its close to midnight and your out in Wilton Manors you aren’t looking for a pub anyway. Nice long bar, friendly bar tenders(though drinks are a bit steep in my opinion $$), fab dancefloor with decent songs played all night. The crowd wasn’t really pumping, but we danced anyway. The guys hanging around at the tables outside were fun and friendly too. Overall a hilarious(or the part I can recall) and fun filled night out :)

Nice wide open venue. I wasn’t there long enough to get the full vibe. I do not like valet parking only. Thanks for the response. I shall still come in to visit when in Ft Lauderdale.

Village Pub is an excellent draw for crowds, especially in Wilton, but I have never felt in tune with the vibe there. It is just one large room with not much to offer. I mean, in essence, it is a pub that doesn’t only want to be a pub and wishes to break into a club role, but will never succeed. There is always a guarantee that if you try to navigate to a different part of the bar, you will undoubtedly brush against a hairy bear’s back, step on a twink’s converse, and have to play limbo underneath two shirtless men making out. I suppose I’m just not a fan of that. The crowd is older, which is expected in Wilton. The music is as gay as the sunshine. No complaints there, just saying. I prefer other bars in the area, like Alibi and Rumors.

Happy hour is awesome at this place. Its clean and the staff are helpful and courteous. Oh yea– try the(kibbles) trail mix while you sip your beer or cocktail. Makes for an awesome evening with friends and enjoy the atmosphere and good music and vids.

Very wide selection of spirits mostly carrying whiskey and vodka which is common and expected in pub! Nice dark atmosphere pool and an awesome dance floor. Outside seating available. They don’t offer food items but only because of space issues. Serves drinks in an actual glass which is always nice. Just a comfy local hot spot! Geared toward men in this community hence THEVILLAGE pub but they are sweet to all that come.

Since I have moved to Wilton Manors, I have been here a few times. I must say the bar staff are incredible. I walked in on a Saturday night, by myself, and started a conversation with one of the bartenders. He ended up introducing me to a few people, and the night turned out to be extremely fun.

I have always like Village Pub. I can’t say that I frequent it often, but when I do it’s a great time. Lately I end my Sunday by stopping by for a few drinks. The first thing I have to tell you to do is valet your car. Valet is $ 5.00 and includes a free well drink. Why wouldn’t you do this? You can either park across the street and get a ticket when you leave your car or have someone park it for you and you get a drink out of it. No brainer. The outside patio is great, I only wish it were a little deeper so there was more room for the stools, people and the people passing by who want to get into the bar. It can be tight quarters. The dance floor is a nice size. You will not see me there unless I’m pretty drunk. And if I’m pretty drunk then watch out. The bartenders are great. Very friendly and make their drinks strong. You definitely get your monies worth. It’s a great bar with such a variety of people there. Older, younger, and everything in between and what I love is that even the customers are nice. Some of the friendliest people I’ve met have been at this bar. It’s just a really great time. The pool table is a plus. The bathroom attendant is a minus. Bathroom attendants have never been my thing. I would never say fire him because people need jobs, but put him elsewhere and skip the towel passing out. I know where the paper towels are.

I am issuing only three stars because my bartender was drunk. I’m not making this up at all. I overheard a conversation he had with someone else. Yes, I was wearing my Hearing Aid on this day. I heard everything. Regardless, as expected here, he was very nice and attentive to everyone at the bar. He also didn’t make me a correct Chocolate Martini but, it was so strong I drank it like water anyways. Common now guys, keep it professional. As expected and rumored the last time I was on The Drive, this is now the bar to start your adventures in. I left early but, it was already getting busy by the time I left. It wasn’t empty when I was there earlier that day neither. Next time, I will just go with another bartender. No complaints from the Cuban here. Blah, blah, blahs: * Rumor around town is that they have plans on opening a restaurant right next door. I can’t confirm this but, I hope so. * Parking — there is street parking and a lot behind the bar. Forget it if you come here when it’s busy. Your best bet if you plan on coming here is walking here. Just make sure one of the competing bars where you parked doesn’t have a Towing Policy when they see you going to another bar. I’m not going to say any names(coughs… «Alibi») but, this policy is enforced at some places. Valet is an option here. * Top Shelf Chips — Do not lose these. Your regular 2−4−1 on Top Shelf Drinks. * Smoking — You can’t smoke inside the bar but, they are very smoker friendly. Lots of cigarette receptacles up front and a nice smoking area out back. * Wednesdays — Is 80s Night. My mid-life crisis behind is already making plans to be here soon. * Best Nights — Whenever they are open for business. It has always been a great time here. Even more so now that it’s more crowded. P. S. Leave your attitude in Miami. This is Wilton Manors and ain’t nobody got time for that here.

Good times! Pros: Good drinks… had a wonderful margarita rimmed with sugar. Very packed and lively environment. An attractive establishment in terms of layout. Very good music. Surprisingly clean bathrooms, but then again it’s a gay club so it’s not a shock.

Though I didn’t expect much in what has generally been a place of past failures, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it has yet to have officially opened, it appears to not only have potential but a lot already going for it. Indeed, I recognized a few familiar looking faces of staff members seemingly having been recruited from the Alibi whose experience and training were obvious. The interior, completely redone is, when they have the metal window screens open, bright and pleasing to the eye. They have a good happy hour with nightly drink specials, a small stage set up to be used for upcoming entertainment, a central pool table and two good sized bars. I’m not sure exactly what group or scene of the gay community they are targeting as it generally appears to be of mixed use, part sports bar(possibly a version of «sports bar lite») general chat, drink, a place to mix together or pick up. In any event, it will be interest to see what and how it develops, but for now it looks to be more than just another Wilton Manors flash in the pan establishment. As for how many stars to award, since they haven’t even officially opened, really too early to say. But, unlike Wilton Biers which opened up by hiring what seemed to be a bunch of inept street vagrants for bartenders and wait staff, Village Pub seems to be doing things right. As with most things in Wilton Manors, however, parking is of course a problem.
