Amazing place and sad to see them go back home to England. They were the most welcoming and kind hosts with delicious recipes from their homeland. Took my Mom here twice before they were scheduled to close. Much love to them on their journey home.

This used to be a fun place to go. The cakes and food weren’t great but the environment was fun. Ever since their business went downhill and they decided to move back to England, the two owners have turned into two crotchety old men. I’m not sure if it’s because their business did not succeed or if it’s their true personalities coming out, either way this is one place that will not be missed!

Came here with my Red Hat group second year in a row because we loved it the first time and once again we had delightful food and wonderful ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed the owners’ quips and comments. Delicious teas and something to look at everywhere! If you’ve never been here and enjoy a tea room this is the most delightful one in the Ft Lauderdale area.

Let me first start by saying. I am not a tea drinker. On occasion I may have a cup of mint tea when I am not well, but that’s it. I don’t like coffee either, so when my friend suggested we have our monthly hang out in a Tea Room I was less than thrilled. The day of the event I contemplated canceling, why bother to go to a tea room when I don’t even like the stuff. I felt guilty because I remember she made reservations and even paid a deposit on us having high tea and that was the only reason why I went. Walking in I was quickly reminded that it was a gift shop as well as they had lots of things on display and everything seemed to be for sale. Lots of mirrors, motivational signs, trinkets and tchotckes… all sprinkled about the room. Our host quickly appeared and seated us. He went through the tea presentation explaining how tea was personal and how one person prefers to have theirs might not be how you would want yours. He urged us to try everything and then decide if you liked it or not. I cannot say I was transformed into a tea drinker but I appreciated the experience. The heart of the tearoom is solely driven by the personalities of the hosts… we had a blast! Our tea experience lasted 4 hours!!! I am sure we could have been in and out in less than an hour but we were having such a great time and didn’t want to leave. The sandwiches were great. They had a turkey and cranberry, tuna, roast beef, egg salad and of course, cucumber sandwiches, along with some cheeses and crackers. They served it with a homemade potato salad and coleslaw… to die for! The next course of tea came with a dessert tray with various cakes and pastries and of course Scones!!! with proper cream and jam. All very delicious! Unfortunately the pair of hosts will be returning to their homeland by this summer, so please be sure to visit soon if you plan to check them out. I know I will be back!

I sent my mom here for her birthday while she was in Florida visiting my 89 year old grandmother. My mom said it truly was the best day! She raved about the food and experience but she could not get over how fun and friendly the owners were! She could not stop thanking me for the memories she got to have with her mom. Must be a really special place. I will have to go next time I am in Florida!

It was such a rewarding experience to finally have tea here at Oscar’s. Firstly, the gracious owners, Craig & Kevin, who are both Englishmen… welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They sat us at a nice table by a window. We weren’t expecting the array of teas they brought to us. I believe we had five different teas or so as we were there for high tea at 4:30pm. They had an ample assortment of savory and sweet which was a perfect balance for high tea! Believe me, you can and will probably get filled with all the teas and yummy treats. Everything we tried was full of flavor and our tastebuds thanked us for it. Craig and Kevin are two of the most delightful gentlemen I’ve ever met. They are humble, fun-loving and gracious people, and it was an utter delight engaging in conversation with them. It was actually not crowded the particular day we went, so the owners had time to chat with us. The teas were brewed to perfection and the ambience was fun. Sadly for the rest of us though, they are going to be moving back to England in mid June. Give them a try before this epic place is gone for good. They have a lot of items for sale too… check them out! I will definitely be back for another high tea with them!

Amazing oasis from the daily grind. Literally. Here Tea is Queen. And the food is homemade to order. The mincemeat pie is very proper. With a huge dollop of fresh whipped cream, this is reason enough to come in. The quiche is excellent. Obviously homemade delicious thin flakey crust with melt in your mouth flavor. Today’s quiche was ham and cheese. Loved it! Served with a light green salad, just enough for lunch. Everything is served on proper English china. The ambiance is so relaxing with quiet music, attentive service, you forget you’re in Wilton Manors, and feel like you’ve been somehow transported to a small tea room in London Regrettably, the team behind this hidden gem are returning to the mother land in June so hurry to Oscar’s before they are gone

Craig and Kevin took wonderful care of my boyfriend and I for high tea. They start with a wonderful black tea. They then bring you a three tear plate of a assortment of wonderful cheese and sandwiches. They consist of cucumber, egg, tuna and turkey cranberry. Then followed by more tea 3 pots to be exact. They were grey, greeen, and lemon. Craig and Kevin really make this place fun with their wit and charm. High tea is $ 50 for 2, really a great deal for everything brought to you. I’m having my baby shower here and can’t wait for my party!

These guys are so nice it is a pity they are so homesick for the Midlands. I would love to be able to convince them to stay as there are so few good afternoon tearooms here in the swamp. Their tearoom is delightful and they cook beautifully. The chatter that goes along with the tea is fun. These two chaps are sure to please wherever they are.

I was lucky enough to have my baby shower at Oscars. The hosts were wonderful and soon became part of our party. We had a wonderful high tea spread with several types of tea and great food. They were so accommodating of our crazy group and we all agreed that we want to come back for another visit. Don’t miss out on this great experience led by wonderful people!

If you enjoy traditional English, especially a High Tea, Oscar’s is the place. With the décor, the service and a setting I wouldn’t know that I wasn’t in England or aboard one of Cunard Line ships. Their service is friendly, sooo nicely British in every way, selection of teas wonderful as well as properly prepared and presented, their cakes, scones and the like perfect, a wonderful selection of beers and for food, considering the fact that this is a British restaurant and as such notoriously known for not having the best of very cooking skills, surprisingly good. I had their past/sausage special which of course was more Italian than British, but seeing how it was prepared by the British instead of the Italian, very good, tasty with the pasta done al dante, and about as good as any Italian might have done with it. Besides being the best tea room around, it’s also a gift shop loaded to the hilt with all kinds of interesting items, some very practical and some very whimsical with certain items such as the«The Queen of Everything» mug, well suited for the Wilton Manors crowd. The over the top interior décor is totally charming and the outside sidewalk like patio in which smoking is permitted, perfect for a leisurely al fresco dinning or drinking experience. Overall, just experiencing Oscars is a treat in and of itself.

Part of my ritual when I travel is to take time to have tea and just unwind. When I saw the reviews for Oscar’s tearoom, I thought perfect and made a reservation. Even though there was a party being celebrated, they squeezed me in which was awesome! The one thing that keeps them from the 5th star is having a minimum count to order high tea(minimum of 2). Since I normally travel solo, it was disappointing that I couldn’t order the one thing I actually wanted and instead settled for a single scone and pot of tea.(Both of which were delicious by the way! Twining’s Lady Gray tea is my favorite!) If I return to Ft Lauderdale, I will have to drag someone else with me! Craig and Kevin have created the ideal tea drinker’s atmosphere here; if you have a chance to stop by, definitely do!

This place is just FABULOUS!!! It’s just amazing, we decided to come to have the High Tea that is $ 24.99(if your party is more then 4 people you do have to put an deposit of $ 10 that is later discounted form the final bill) for my sisters Bridal party and my Grandma’s 80th Birthday celebration. It’s highly recommend to make a reservation since the place is not that big, but I have to say the owners Craig and Kevin are amazing! Absolutely wonderful, that make you feel like your at their own house they treat you like your are their personal guest, just lovely! The tea is amazing, the china is original and imported from England and even some item are family heirlooms, very authentic and the food is delicious, the sandwich, pastries etc. I have to say that I will definitely will be coming back with my friends next time! I loved it 100%

Brilliant!!! I love this place! Kevin and Craig are fab hosts and great chefs! I heard of this place from a friend and decided to treat my sister. We both had no idea what to expect. I was just hoping for a proper cuppa. Bringing traditional high tea to Fort Lauderdale the place is chock full of sellable chotchkes and all things England. Kevin & Craig have the most infectious personalities that you can’t help but linger and enjoy your tea. They make all the sandwiches and pastries from scratch as well as a few other savory items. And they have a lovely selection of teas to offer from black teas to fruity teas. I don’t think I can possibly express how wonderful my experience was at this little gem. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!!!

The darling place is really a most enjoyable restaurant in Florida. The owners Craig and Kevin are an adorable pair and very friendly to all their guests. As you’re seated, Craig came and told us the history of their shop and where they came from. Me and friends made the reservation for high tea, which is a lunch set with mini finger sandwiches and quiches. He took our first order of tea choice. We picked the English breakfast black tea. It was lovely with cream and sugar. Then came the first high tea set, first tier was a variety of delicious sandwiches including turkey and cranberry, tuna salad, egg salad, cucumber, and ham. The second tier was quiches, cheese and caviar on crackers and prosciutto. The third tier was olive and cheese, tomato and cheese. The second pot of tea we chose Earl Grey. It was very pleasant! The third pot was raspberry pomegranate tea. The second set was scones, cakes and fruit. The scones were fresh and warm. The cream and jam that came with it was absolutely amazing. Overall, it’s such a cute place. The food is good, the environment was pleasant, the hosts are sweet, and you are highly encouraged to relax. Time flies here. Will definitely go back.

My friends and I went for tea and had a lovely time. The price is $ 19.95. The owners are great hosts and make you feel at home. They make everything from scratch and serve it on English China and linens. They provide small quiche bites, crackers/cheese, bread with fruit toppings, many types of sandwiches, scones of three flavors accompanied with butter, jam, and whipped cream. I wish they had clotted cream(a reason why they didn’t get the 5th star). For dessert they sent out a tiered tray of small cake slices, fruit, and bars. Some of the cake slices were dry and didn’t seem super fresh, however, the owners say that is how cakes are made in England and that they are fresh. There is a huge list of teas that they brew in individual teapots for you. They let you try as many as you want. The atmosphere is inviting and they let you stay as long as you want. Parking is behind the building.
