I wish I could say it was great but I can’t. Their displays shows the history of racing very well but there were only a few cars. As a few I mean 30 or so and about 15 motor bikes. I go to car shows all the time so I expected more cars and high quality of them then I saw. I might go back for special events like out door car shows but I won’t waste my money of going to see their displays again. They also have EV chargers from EV link which are pay chargers. I have seen free EVlink chargers around but never pay chargers. I can’t find anything about a EVlink Charging Network so I don’t know if these are EVlink or another network like ChargePoint or the cost to charge on them.

This place is one we knew we wanted to check out as they were building it. We had heard that the owner owned all of the cars. Not sure. I am not a huge car fan, but I appreciate the history and beauty of the automobile. This place is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Boasting room for so many cars and motorcycles. It is beautiful inside and lots of cool technology integrated into the museum. You have to take some time and read about the many automobiles and their time periods as well as how many few miles they have on them. Just beautifully maintained. The cool rides were the simulator race car rides. My son and husband have them a try and found out to be a fun experience. All in all, we really enjoyed the car museum and enjoyed learning a lot more.

Five woofs for sure and I can’t even drive! I loved this place. Even if you are not into cars I think you would like this place. Really well done. Clean, open space with various types of auto memorabilia. Interesting part is it focuses on the northwest drivers and industry contributors. Go check it out. Well worth it.

First visit today… me & my 3 Gearheads! We all four thought it was really cool! Although we were expecting the building to be bigger and more full of displays. Looking forward to coming back again to check out the the change of autos on display.

Gentlemen… start your engines! Opening weekend of this new roadside attraction in Wilsonville and they got off to a great start. All weekend they had special guests and famous drivers alongside their vehicles. Which was wonderful, because the stories really bring the exhibits to life. My personal favorite was Denny Edwards, The Flying Irishman. What a character! [1] I would consider myself an interested visitor, but by no means an automotive or racing enthusiast or expert. So I won’t be springing for one of their memberships. But, this museum had me feeling oh-so-nostalgic for American muscle cars and racing which seemed much more at the forefront of our national culture during my childhood in the 70s and 80s. This is an interesting collection of cars(both vintage and racing), speed boats, racing motorcycles and exhibits that show how car culture is intertwined with Americana. One section of the main showroom is The Wall of Sound. Boy was that a blast from the past to see old radios, TVs and rock-and-roll memorabilia. And so funny trying to explain some of these things to a modern teenager. The World of Speed does a nice job of balancing touch and no touch spaces for younger visitors. While the vehicles are behind ropes, there is a ‘Starline Club’ where kids can crawl all over some exhibits. The Wall of Sound also has many devices that you can pick up and explore. For an extra charge, you can play on the Slot Car Track or sit in a Race Simulator. While I think this museum is an interesting place to visit, it really can’t compare to the overall entertainment value of The Evergreen Air & Space Museum in McMinneville. But, it certainly is worth a visit and I’m excited to see them inviting robotics teams and boy scouts as part of their educational programs. Jen K’s thrifty tip: ** AAA discounts available, as well as for seniors, students and active military. [1] After a 30+ year retirement, the Flying Irishman plans to do another jump this year.
