Dr. Johnsen is a graduate of University of Oregon and Oregon Health and Science University, actively takes continuing education classes and belongs to several professional dental organizations. He likes to stay current on new dental procedures and materials. He is also very active in the Wilsonville community and has served on the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He is the kind of Dentist that likes to be involved with and know his community families. You may see him often at Wilsonville High School sporting events cheering for his student patients.

Dr. Johnsen, has been married for over 30 years to Tamra Busch-​Johnsen. She is Executive Director of the Business Education Compact, a non-​profit organization that offers K-​12 programs that connect students with the workplace. Their older son, Brandon, is a OSU graduate with a major in Industrial Engineering and a minor in business. Travis, their younger son, is a graduate from Gonzaga University and was very active with their golf team.
