Say-​Yum is located in a renovated building in downtown Wilson across from the Wilson Train Station. Big-​Up props to the local church and council members that helped revitalize this historic space or otherwise the store-​fronts would probably fall to ruin. Say-​Yum offers a menu of Caribbean style plates and a selection of Jamaican sodas. Hershey ice cream flavors are a delight! Although the name scared me, I got an awesome jerk chicken sub, followed by a sundae. Nice place to chill if you ever have to wait on a train in Wilson NC.

They have wonderful jerk, curry and brown stew chicken. The red beans and rice are delicious as is the spicy stewed cabbage. Shrimp and pork are wonderful too.
They also serve deli sandwiches, traditional Jamaican patties and Hershey Ice Cream.
Prices are reasonable with several lunch specials.

Had the jerk chicken a few times. It’s excellent but would be better if they deboned first.
Food is decent and we’ll priced. The staff is spectacular. I really don’t recall the last time I’ve received such good customer service anywhere.
Subtracting one star for an incredible amount of bones and joints in the chicken.
