This is the kind of place I don’t want to tell you about. The kind of place that should stay a local’s only kinda place.
The plates are plastic cafeteria style plates to separate your foods, the menu is short but sweet. The food is delish in a very not fancy, very homey kinda way. I’ve only had breakfast here, but the list of sides for lunch always intrigues me with things like okra and greens and such. Last time i was here, pork neckbones were cooking away on the stove. Yum. Don’t come for fancy, come for local charm.
So… Don’t come here cause you’ll ruin it. :-)

I work down the street from this business, and one of the guys I work with was picking up his lunch from here. Asked him to get me chicken pastry, collards and sweet potato casserole. OMG, the best country cooking I have ever had, and that includes my own! Pastry was tender and chickeny, collards were porkaliscious!
