Food was very disappointing, way over priced for what you got. Beer was fine but they couldn’t even get a burger cooked to order!

Our cousin vacations. in Jackson every year. He told us the food in this area was terrible. We have been here a week and not until we arrived at this Q roadhouse had we encountered such a bloody AWEFUL dinning experience. The wait staff was confused. They never asked if we wanted another beer. It was not very good but everyone wants to be offered! The best thing was that a carafe of water was on the table. My hubby got carinitas tacos w green sauce. The meat was harden flecks of denatured protein void of anything but a rock like character. My fried chicken was 90%black char. It tasted burned scorched. I questioned the waiter on was it suppose to be mostly black… he told me they would remake it. I was given another blacked piece of fried chicken. I was do hungry so I tried to eat it. The white meat was very dry and the mountain of gravy covered potatoes had a weird metal taste and covered with gray powdered gravy mix. The vegetable slaw paired with the burnt chicken and gross potatoes stuff was colored pinkish due to? Some beets. I was so grossed out. We just wanted to leave. I went to the restroom. To find a large stainless Steele sink. like in a morgue with two plastic hand soap containers laying in the bottom of sink… I guess that is better than no soap. Wow. So we did have water on the table to drink and soap in the ladies room. Does that give you a ONE star rating on Unilocal?

Ate here 2 nights in a row, in the bar during happy hour. Service was fast and good, way better than expected considering the crowd. This place seems to be a favorite of friendly down to earth locals. As a tourist looking for a good meal in an area known for tourist traps, I highly recommend this place. Also check out Calico next door. They share a huge grass yard for kids to run around in. Betw my wife and I, we had the ribs, Korean breakfast, carbonara with lamb bacon and fried chicken. All were great. The Korean breakfast is hot spicey. Had a side salad which also was great. The highlight was the succotash served with the chicken: fantastic. They have a great beer selection. Watch out for the beers that come in a hoity toity glass of roughly 8 ounces. Seems like it was Belgian ale that had this dubious honor. If you want a pint, make sure you ask when ordering. They have multi TV’s in the bar well placed for sports. It’s not a sports bar, the atmosphere is very social and inviting, but you can easily enjoy watching sports here.

We tried this place on a recommendation from the owners of the B&B in which we were staying. The place wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night. The venison carpaccio was excellent, and the in-house beer that I tried was good. We also tried their clam chowder. While it’s definitely not the New England style that we’re accustomed to, it was very good. The other items on the menu looked interesting, and if we had more time, we would likely try the place again

I honestly don’t get he 3.5 stars for this place, what??? Such good food! Matty definitely knows what he is doing in that kitchen of his! I would’ve never ordered something with kimchi in it, but the farro/kimchi appetizer was a real surprise, as well as the fern sprouts with garlic and Parmesan, yummmmmm! Not to mention the lamb bacon and some sort of sausage paired for our table with a local Ipa, uhhhh lamb-bacon, what!!! Then my salmon came out and was a crowd favorite, as well as the mashed potatoes that came with one of the BBQ dishes. Then we had an assortment of desserts, which of course we’re all unavoidably delish even though we were stuffed. Service was great and the chef knows what’s up. I won’t skip this place anytime I’m in town! Also, if you like a bigger, bold red, the Nero from Sicily was amazing!

WOW! This place rocks! We had a couple different allergies in our party and Matt the chef came out and addressed each one. The food was amazing! The service was fabulous, Jay is a rockstar! And best of all the drinks came out fast and strong! Ignore all the negative reviews talking about price. You are in a ski resort and you should expect a good price for good food and drinks.

We drove by each day we left Jackson Hole, but never made it in when they opened at 5pm until our final day at the resort. The atmosphere was cool and service was great. Beer was okay, and food was tasty. The shumai was really good. I had the swordfish special($ 29), and it was a really small piece of fish. It was cooked perfect and the flavors were there, but it definitely needs a scoop of rice or something under it to make it a more substantial dish and worth the cost. Plus I ended up using some of my boyfriends fries to soak up the tasty sauce.

We were in town for a snowboarding trip. We decided to make reservations to watch the Super Bowl here. The beer was good. We ordered buffalo chicken nachos. Those were delicious!!! For my main dish I ordered a burger and fries. It was decent. The others in my group weren’t super impressed with the food. Good, but nothing to write home about. Overall, it was a fun atmosphere to watch the game, they had a good selection of beers, and the food on their menu was decent(lots of different options. Not your typical options. and pricey).

SHOELEATHERMEAT. When the waiter says the short ribs cook for 10 hours and they come out hard as the sole of my boots, this is a place to avoid at all costs. Too bad. They are owned by the same company that operates the Osteria at the Hotel Terra. What a F’n disaster.

My family’s trip to Q Roadhouse ended up with a call to 911. Informed of a common allergy, the waiter assured us that the food was safe to eat. It was not. The paramedics had to come.

After their hit and miss reviews, my wife and I reluctantly gave Q a try. We were glad we did. We started out with a couple of their beers, can’t remember which ones. They were decent. We then ordered a bbq platter. That was great! My favorite was the brisket, then the ribs.

Great food and service! I had the skirt steak, and it was super super tender and juicy. I love the atmosphere and the use of locally grown, harvested, or baked products. I was a little disappointed as I do not eat pork and I realized there was bacon in the borracho beans that the steak was served on. That was one of the only entrees with beef, so I was not thinking there would also be pork in the meal. I don’t think the menu said pork was included in that, but nonetheless, I should have asked and I would absolutely still come back and recommend Roadhouse.

Had a Belgium Ale that was yummy but the fried chicken was both over and under cooked. The breast was a bit dry but the leg was«bleeding». The server was great and offered to make it right but I declined in favor of a second beer.

WORST service EVER! Been coming here for years and I’m really shocked at how poor the service has become.(40) minutes to get a simple BBQ plate. Inexcusable, given that the place was only half full. ribs were dry, brisket was dry, pulled pork was dry, but the sausage was good…

Awesome décor and ambiance! A really fun place to go after a long day hiking and sightseeing. Friendly staff and generous portions. I got the ebony and ivory salad and it was ok, though my brother got the BBQ platter(to split with the table-it was huge) and the BBQ was great. The beers weren’t bad, and I liked that a brewery offered not just their own beers but had a wide variety of other beers, wine, and a full-service bar.

Have you ever been to a place and said I want this near me. This place is by far the best concept for a micro brewery I’ve ever seen. The great architecture coupled with the area for the kids to roam is epic! To the food an beer! The wait staff is solid very much on top of your needs. The family had the BBQ platter, Mac n cheese, and a roadhouse Cobb salad. The BBQ was a bit over cooked and too moist(crockpot like roast beef), they had a great cumber salad that was placed in the middle of the plate, but the vinegar used to pickle the cucumbers spread through the plate juices and in my opinion ruined the great favors. I would recommend a dish for the side. The mac n cheese was truly homemade great stuff. The Cobb salad appeared great with a chili vinegarette and a $ 6 added chicken breast, the dressing was a bit spicy for my wife and the blue cheese was very robust. All the ingredients were fresh. I would definitely eat here again. I offer my criticism to the chef and note it was good but could have been better. Now to the beer. Loved it they had an ice coffee stout on nitro that was great. I wanted a keg for breakfast beers! Then I had two of their rhombus ipa’s very well balanced not overly hopped good beer. I will be back for this place.

I had to wait entirely too long for food, with multiple staff members stopping by to say it will be out ‘soon’ but not much else happened. So that’s not very cool.

Honestly, in our Jackson experience, this place nailed it, experience wise, although foodwise its just a middling 3 – 4, meanwhile their craft beer is a solid 5. Averaging out using my fancy math, it’s a solid four-ish, and really, a place you should check out if you are in or around Jackson. The Q Roadhouse and Brewing Company is a family friendly summertime spot, tucked on the road adjacent to another popular food spot, Calico, in Wilson, about five to ten minutes up the road from the main downtown of Jackson, Wyoming. Imagine this as a great spot in the summertime for parents to drink a very, very good craft beer, eat some BBQ or appetizers on picnic tables, and watch your kiddos run amok on the nearby lawn. I have to give Q a five from a parents perspective. If all you want and need after a five mile hike is a cold IPA and some ice packs for your calves, meanwhile your previously exhausted kiddos(as in five second ago they were whining about their blisters) now are miraculously ready to devour an enormous meal and somehow catch a frightening second-wind, causing them to run around for another hour on the lawn playing soccer(man, how do they do it?) then this is your spot, hands down. We ordered an elk tartare(I know, I feel terrible about this choice. Terrible. Until I ate it. Gawd, I still feel guilty. But can I say it with out flinching? It was good…) an order of pigs ear lettuce wraps(sounds horrible, tastes chewy but okay), an order of spicy BBQ wings(boring, but SO good with beer), an order of squid and mango salsa(a good order but use the limes provided as it needs more acid) and finally, an order of house-made fried chiccerones. Sometimes, beer requires the most greasy and fried foods to be fully enjoyed. With kids meals at $ 8 for things like burgers or grilled cheese, this is not a bad stop to feed the kids early and let them run around. Adult entrees are in the $ 20-$ 35 range, so not something we opted in on, since that’s fairly pricey for BBQ but in keeping with Jackson pricing. We did leave well fed in terms of appetizers and craft beer in our post-hike relaxation time, meanwhile our kids maxed out on reasonably priced kids-meals and fun, with the giant track and field set up and the throwing of peanut shells on the floor being a highlight for the under twelve set.
