Hotel has seen better days ! Furniture, bedding and carpets are very worn. While the hotel is old and worn and in need of refurbishment room was clean. However the bath had a funky odor, like b.o. Check in was easy and efficient however the room key did not work! Had to have it reset. Also the poor front desk seemed miserable, but perhaps she was just having a bad day, like we all do. Pets allowed definite plus and good luck to location.

The place is clean, great to just lay your head. I’m on a road trip from jersey to Florida and really needed to get the sleep so I stopped here, they gave me a late check out and the staff is nice. So not a bad place to get a few hours of sleep, shower and not worry about bed bugs.

This is a place I chose because the ratings were good on Another site. I was very disappointed. I believe the ratings were padded. I thought that the price was lie, and was drawn to it because it had the promise of free internet and also allowed pets. I even followed up with a phone call, and was told my pet was welcome. When I got there, I was hit with a $ 13 upcharge for my pet and the most unfriendly clerk I have ever met. The front desk was Unwielding about this upcharge. Then I had to lug my bags up an outdoor staircase and was greeted by a drunken woman who was drinking from a can of beer while she sat in her doorway. Then it gets better: her little girl, maybe age 4, comes running out if the room and says, «doggy?» As I was fumbling for my room pass, the woman’s male partner showed up and they drank and this little girl ran around, unsupervised all evening. I was there one night. I told the equally unfriendly clerk about this next morning. I was asked if I told the front desk about it. I told the clerk ‚” no,” but am reporting to you now. I tried to cancel my return trip at this hotel and was not permitted since I booked through a third party. I promptly called that third party. Luckily, I was allowed to. Oh. My dog now has fleas. He has never had fleas in his life. I am not saying that he got them from this establishment. I am just saying that there is a correlation. I am staying elsewhere on my return back from my in law’s.

We had stayed here about a year and a half ago and had a pleasant experience. This time, it was a different story. I made our reservation by phone, directly with the front desk. When I arrived, I was told they did not have the room we wanted, which was a suite with a king sized bed. They offered us a suite with two beds, but, it was an animal friendly room. The furniture was stained, the carpeting was stained, frayed, and, in a couple of areas had what could have been dog feces imbedded in the carpet. The front desk then offered us another room that they said was freshly painted. The odor of the paint was overwhelming, and, the rest of the room was also filthy. Since we were tired, and, I was not feeling well, we stayed in the first room. The front desk was of no help. The breakfast was horrid, so, we went next door to the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. My suggestion is to avoid this place! I am filing complaints with the local and state boards

Inexpensive. Dogs allowed. Convenient to I-95. Old style TV.(No remote) Broken coffee maker and no coffee in any event. Cracked door jamb, but dead lock seemed to work. Heavy smoker(guest) stationed herself in the parking area right outside my room and the smoke billowed on and off for most of the evening. Bottom line: You get what you pay for.

Well, it’s pretty cheap. $ 59 and ten each for two dogs. In need of dramatic updating but it was clean and everything worked [sort of — the heat was a workout] and the tub emptied very slowly. I would say, given the cost-low-we got our money’s worth. We had a second floor room-no elevator so lugging heavy suitcases is no joy. The breakfast was minimalist but what they did have stunk. The reception person was… DISINTERESTED. Now would I stay here again [which is not too likely], maybe if I was in a budget kind of mood. I have to say, I prefer Paris, France to Wilson, NC. But you do get to see some NASCAR freaks trying to kill each other on the highway which is always entertaining but be aware that is the only entertainment you are likely to see in Wilson, NC.

We stayed here because Jameson Inns allow you to have pets. At first it looked okay, but there were lots of things which indicate that the management should be paying better attention. The wall-to-wall in the room was frayed. The TV remote was held together with Scotch Tape. The breakfast milk was sour. The waffle maker was not functioning right. These are all things that could easily be fixed if someone cared enough. Apparently they don’t.

This place is DISGUSTING! Filthy, dirty, rooms & horrible service. The first room I was given had a terrible odor, like mildew. There was a crack in the door jamb & there were wasps in the room when we arrived. The bathroom vanity was filthy & grimy, as if it had never been cleaned & there was a layer of dust on all of the furniture. After requesting a different room, we were moved to a room that was equally dirty, but this one had a red stain on the comforter that looked like blood, and the inside of the comforter had«other» stains. Disgusting. When I contacted the front desk, they were very complacent & did not even offer an apology. Horrible, filthy rooms & equally horrible customer service. Needless to say we did not, nor will we ever, stay at a Jameson again
