Very shady auctioneer practices going on here, which is a shame as they often have wonderful antiques. I’ve witnessed very frequent and obvious chandelier bidding. I’ve won an auction, and then had it retracted saying there was a bid they didn’t get or that one of the staff had bid. Items were also not in the same condition as pictured… original hardware had been removed from a wonderful antique. The auctions with on line bidding seem to be the worst. They definitely have lost my business! Many dealers I spoke with were disgusted with what was going here, and said it was nothing new.
