Stopped in here on our vacation to Wilmington, as a hombrewer and craft beer aficionado this place is an awesome combo.
You can shop in a very well stocked hombrew shop and then walk through to the taproom and purchase and drink beer brewed by the attached brewery. They had a good number of beers on tap and one cask, what I tried was pretty good. It’s Very family and dog friendly with lots of amenities
For the two and four legged kids.

Nice laid back to place to spend an afternoon if you’re in Wilmington or need a break from the beach. Appreciate the fact that they are so kid friendly (amazingly a lot of breweries are). They even have a play area in the brew shop with toys, books, coloring books, etc. My wife and I stayed and had an extra beer because of this (our 1 y/​o son was getting restless, would’ve had to leave otherwise). Great staff and great beer as well. Uptown Swank (double IPA) was a standout for me but everything I tried was awesome! Also you can take whatever you want home in a Crowler (32oz)!

Great place. Drove up from Myrtle Beach for supplies. While shopping had a couple of cold craft beers. Has everything a home brewer needs with very helpful staff.

Awesome brewery, these guys are extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and very professional. Comfortable environment, ask any questions you may have, and you’ll receive non-​condecending answers. The beers they offer are very good, and the prices are very reasonable. These guys have anything you need for your home brew set-​up (but if they dont, they are eager to find it for you) highly recommended.

This place has it all! They brew great beer (the breakfast stout was superb), and they sell everything you need to start brewing at home. I’ll admit I almost bought my first brewing kit online, thinking I’d save a few bucks, but I decided to go here to see what kits they could sell me. Boy am I glad I did! I walked in and told John (not the brewmaster but the other John) that I was a newbie and needed some hand holding. While he put together everything I needed for my first homebrew adventure, my wife and I watched and drank beer. How sweet is that? He gave us tips and pointers, and even the recipe for an oatmeal stout. It was turnkey!
I will be back here for sure, hopefully getting more supplies for my next batch, but definitely to drink some great beer with some really cool folks!

We used to frequent the previous location for home brewing supplies back when it was just a home brew store. We had since moved out of state prior to the opening of the new location and brewery, but we were recently back for a visit and stopped by to sample their beers. We tried the Tropical Lightning IPA, Moon Dance Citrus Blonde, Blair’s Breakfast Stout, and Sneaky Goose Double IPA, and we were highly impressed with everything Wilmington Brewing Company had to offer. The place was packed on a Friday night so we were lucky to snag a table and it got a bit loud, but that’s to be expected when you’re the best new craft brewery in town!

Fantastic brewery The staff is nice and greets you with a smile. This place is great to chill at they have corn hole, ping pong and picnic tables. My favorite brew is the breakfast blend stout. Highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Brewery’s.

Stopped in here while exploring the craft beer scene on a recent visit to Wilmington.
Not only do they brew their own beer here but it’s also a home brewing supply store and bottle shop. This is the ultimate combination for a craft beer lover!
Of their beers, my favorite was the Oyster Stout. They also had a guest tap of Highland’s Cold Mountain which is scarce in my area so it was great to finally get a taste of the 2014 version here on the Eastern side of the state. They also had bombers of it for $ 5 each. I am sure they are more on the western part of the state.
Anyway, great place. Loved that they played vinyl! Loved the staff and the people sitting next to me were just as friendly as the staff.

Cannot believe I’m the first review of this place. The brewery in Wilmington with the hands down best in-​house beers. There may be trendier spots, but overall, best Wilmington brewed beers. Try it for yourself!
