Wilmington College

I have been to Wilmington a few times over the years, my cousin went here, and our most recent trip was to see my brother-​in-​law play basketball here. It is a great little school, close to Cinci, not far from Columbus. My cousin studied physical therapy and they have a great program in that. At least back then, the Bengals had their summer training here.
It’s a nice campus, lots of very interesting buildings and plenty of green spaces. Wilmington itself looks like a good college town, with interesting shops downtown. I would have considered it when I was looking, and it would be on the list for our daughter if her parents’ alma maters weren’t at the top of the list…
A couple of observations on the athletic center. The Fighting Quakers? Funny. Anyway, an nice facility overall. Good layout, plenty of parking and seating. Concessions were good– I think the burgers were fresh off the grill. The sound system at the game was awful– I could not make out what the announcer was saying at all, and even music was murky.
