Trolley Laundry has a very friendly staff. There is a wide variety of machines to use, and is very reasonably priced. I have been in their many times, and if I’m in a hurry, I use their wash and fold service and can come pick up my clothes whenever is best for me!

I have not used a laundromat before this one so this rating might be a little harsh! The staff is very friendly and helpful but the facility itself is definitely not top notch. Machines are mostly used for people dropping of their laundry so sometimes it can be hard to find good washing machines. Top loading washing machines are $ 2 per load and front loading can be up to $ 3.75 per load– ridiculous if you ask me!!! I never fully feel like my clothes are washed either, but it does the job for the most part. The dryers are cost $ 0.25 per 6 minutes and I generally need up to 4 cycles to dry my clothes. The facility is very drab and there are only two real places to sit. It is never too crowded so that is usually not an issue for me. However the seats are very uncomfortable ! Overall, this laundromat does the job because I don’t have many other options.

Imagine someone converted a Hardee’s bathroom into a laundromat. Genius, right? And, what if they also didn’t air condition the place?(It was about 85 degrees outside when I walked in &94 inside). Wait for it…$ 2 for a small washer, $ 3.50 for a medium. At that point I spun around & attempted to make a dramatic exit without checking any other prices. Unfortunately, I first ended up getting wedged between a middle aged lady’s huge butt and a wall, then waiting 4 hours for another older woman to place the 3 or 4 articles in her basket in the dryer. Like a previous reviewer said: «that’s what you pay for in Trolley.» I’ll never be back unless my car explodes & I’m forced to use the nearest laundrymat.

This place was the sight of a recent tragedy… Don’t let the new higher prices of the coin ops fool you into thinking the machines are new, too. Sure, some of them are, the washers, that is. I can’t say for sure if it was the washers or the dryers that left rust stains on all of my white t-shirts and light colored clothing(where they are most visible), but I can say for sure that was my last ever trip to trolley laundry. wash at your own risk! I must add that the staff has been very pleasant the couple times I have been here, but that does not make up for ruined clothing.

Clean facility, friendly staff. Not much space to sit though, always having to scoot around other people. Also, only one working set of triple load washer & dryers. Since I came to wash a comforter I had to wait for someone else to be done with each machine.

Zero stars! For dry cleaning, your item(s) have to be sent out – which takes a week – possibly longer! I needed a men’s coat dry cleaned. The coat – about a month old, expensive, and with no defects – came back with a large cut down the inside sleeve! I called TL to complain and was told, 1) my coat might be cheap and I should return it, 2) the owner wont do anything because sometimes things like this happen. So, essentially, I was told – I am cheap and tough luck. 1) I am not cheap, the coat is a designer, high dollar, men’s ¾ length wool coat – when I dropped it off it was perfectly fine, but had some beer spilled on it and 2) I’m defending my rights as a consumer by posting here. Here’s the best part, I was charged $ 12! and at no time did TL offer me a refend or offer to pay the cost needed for repairs. Needless to say, NEVER go to this place for dry cleaning!!! The washers and dryers are as old as they get as well.

As a dry cleaner, this was was on the slow side and unusually expensive, like more than Manhattan where I now live. Additionally, was I asked why the dry cleaning was so expensive, the response was a catty«This is what you pay in Trolley Square» as if that explained why it was more expensive that a place about 3 blocks away. Suffice to say, I never went back.
