Great rink! Kind employees including the skate coaches and cheap prices. They could use public morning skate though.

I’ve been here many times growing up, my husband even worked here for a little while in high school. Regardless it’s a great rink, always cold and always clean. Prices are fair for everything, and everyone is really nice. I like skating the only time its hard to is when kids are out of school, avoid going during the summer. I also like that they have other activities outside of regular skating.

Best ice rink in Eastern NC.
Yeah, not a whole lot of rinks around, but at less than 10 years old, the Wilmington Ice House still has that ‘new rink’ feel.
Rental skates are quality, and the staff all know their stuff. The pro shop has a full line of gear, and even though they are the only shop in town, the prices are competitive with online sales sites.
Kids Hockey, adult hockey from beginner to A/​B leagues, and everyone in between, and now Curling!
You can do kids parties during public skate, and you can even rent the ice for private parties.

THIS PLACE IS TOO COLD!
Haha jk. But really. It is freezing. But I understand why…
But it’s actually a pretty nice rink. My husband plays hockey. So it’s nice to watch him. They have a nice size snack bar. And kids can have their birthday parties there!
They have ice skating days where you can skate in the dark and they have all these rainbow lights. It looks like a lot of fun.
I just need to learn how to skate…
