Not a bad place, it is very small inside. You have to pay to use the lounge if you are not a member. I think this is kind of silly if you are buying cigars from them.

When traveling last weekend to Wilmington, I was looking for a place to enjoy a cigar, in addition to just buying one. This is the spot! And not because it appears to be the only place in the state of Delaware that you can do it. As a place to buy cigars, you won’t go wrong; the selection is solid, and Willy, the owner, is knowledgeable on all of them. But even more importantly, you can sit down, relax, enjoy a smoke, and immediately be welcomed by the staff and patrons, just as if you are a regular. And the number and friendliness of the regulars speaks volumes to the quality of the establishment. My original intent was simply to have a smoke, catch up on some email(they have free WiFi), and head out. Instead, after getting engaged in conversation with Willy and a few of the regulars, I found myself firing up a couple more sticks and enjoying several hours of lively conversation, great cigars, and a little Thursday night football. If I lived in Wilmington, I would most certainly be a regular and box-holder, but since I don’t, I’ll have to settle for visiting when I’m in town.

Best cigar shop in Delaware state. Great selection and the owner really knows his tobacco. He introduced us to what is now one of my favorite cigars(I later found out it was a Cigar Aficionado 91 rating). Not only did he introduce us to a new favorite, he had my Avo Classics, which I bought six of for a bachelor party.

2.5 — 3 stars. My experience would have been so much better if they would have invested in a nice air purification system. When I walked in my breath was literally taken away from how much smoke was in the air. I was laboring to breath. All of the patrons seem to have a gleeful look in their eye, as if they were in a magical place. After a while, it was hard to make out their faces because my eyes were beginning to tear. The cigar selection is nice. They carry the sometime often difficult to find Opus X, which caused me to have sheer delight. I went on a Friday night with a couple of friends. I thought I was going to enjoy a nice smoke and conversation, but alas, it was not in the cards because there was a DJ spinning house music. I found that kind of odd for a cigar lounge. I will be back to purchase a cigar in the future, but I don’t think I will be taking advantage of the lounge to enjoy it.

Paid $ 30 for a Davidoff Nicaragua which is normally a $ 16 cigar. Seems like you are paying for your cigar and their overhead. Staff could be a little friendlier. Probably wont spend my money their again considering i essentially paid double for one cigar. I’ll spend my money at Delaware Cigars or Tobacco Field in the future.

I’ve been enjoying, buying and smoking cigars for 15+ years and have done so all over the US and Europe. This place is a gem! Great selection, knowledgable friendly staff and a great atmosphere. My first visit was on a Tuesday evening in Feb. 2013. I was the only customer that evening and Willy gave me a tour of the humidor/selection and shared his story with me while we smoked. I’ve not been back to Wilmington since but I will definitely will stop in every time I’m in Delaware.

Sikar provides a good atmosphere and quality cigars to enjoy in Wilmington’s Trolley Square. The owner was very personable and friendly to my guest and I as well as informed about his products.

Excellent cigar lounge. The interior is comfortable and clean, often with interesting and relaxing music to add to the atmosphere. Much respect to the Cigar concierge. I only stop in once every other week or so and he remembers enough about what I bought to recommend new types of cigars I’d enjoy. Also, he is excellent at cutting a cigar to get a nice draw. Even with the same brand of cigar one he was able to tell he needed to loosen up while the other just needed a small punch. Both drew perfectly. Been lots of cigar places and haven’t experienced such in depth knowledge of tweaking cigars to perfection before.

Sikar Lounge is a very classy cigar lounge in Trolley Square, Wilmington, DE. It is extremely clean, and the product is fresh. I enjoyed a cigar, watched golf, and Willy was very cordial and helpful to me. If you are a novice(myself), to an aficionado you will enjoy Sykar Lounge. A great get away to enjoy a fine cigar.

I previously wrote a review of another cigar place where I stated that the only 3 things that really matter are cigar selection, humidification, and price. It seems I wasn’t thinking because I truly forgot how wonderful a cigar lounge can be when it has the right people and the right atmosphere. This past weekend a business partner and I drove around having some fine cigars and lamenting that we can never actually sit down and enjoy a cigar INSIDE unless the wives are away, we are in Barcelona, or in Boston or Chicago. In other words, we have to drive around, have the windows down in freezing weather, I have to shift gears while holding a cigar, and all while trying to hold a conversation that gets somewhere. This is with the understanding that yes, many small cigar shops have a chair and a t.v., where you can smoke, BUT I said ENJOY. And there are not many places to ENJOY a cigar. It seems our driving, smoking, talking days are over! I visited Sikar Lounge this past weekend as the day was drawing to a close and we decided to drive by and take a look, or should I say another look. We visited this place before when they first opened but it wasn’t «there» yet. Well guess what? They are«there» now. And by «there» I mean they have the right selection, the right humidification, the right prices, and lo and behold, a GREAT atmosphere. Willy is the owner. A former NYC broker who was brought up around cigars from a young age, his knowledge is quite impressive. The lounge and what he is building is being done right and I am soooooo happy! If you like cigars go there. Their selection is wonderful. If you like a great atmosphere, go there. The people are fun and know their stuff.
