Your one stop bait and tackle shop in wilmington! They really have everything from rods, reels, bait, tackle and the updated spots to fish and what to use. All the gear you need for inshore, nearshore and offshore.

Best tackle shop in Wilmington/​CB/​KB area. Great service, extremely knowledgable and very friendly. The weather was bad the week we stayed at Kure Beach, the surf was choppy and the water was completely churned up. The guys at Tex’s fixed me up with the right baits and rigs and suggested the tactics that helped me salvage the week of fishing in the surf. Caught some shark, bluefish, spot, croaker and a mess of flounder, including 2 really nice keepers. I tried a number of other shops in the area and they all had much less stock, higher prices and didn’t share as much info on the locations and tactics that would help produce fish. One other place actually told me to just hang it up unless I went out with a charter. Tex’s staff knew better!
