This place had been called a «greedy Goliath» and to a point I understand that it is a beast of sorts, but lets not point our fingers and say shame on you for doing what you were born to do. Shell uses oil to make gas and a few hundred other products. And in the process they make a profit. How dare they? Get real, almost everyone works for pay its the bedrock of our economy. Shell gives back to there neighbors and local community not to mention the billions they pay in taxes to the country of LA. Could they do better? I think so, will they who knows? I do know one thing for sure without this refinery the price of gas would double everywhere from Texas to California up to the border of Canada. And no one wants that, life is to expensive already. If refinerys really annoy you don’t complain find a better and self regenerating energy source. Then you will change the world and I will Unilocal your praises to the highest mountains.

Another Greedy Goliath that reeks millions of cubic tons of sticky carcinogenic pollution that spreads diseases and poisons LA.
Please hold the company responsible and accountable– give them a call, ask them what are their plans to stop polluting our dying planet.
