This Subway is in the Concord Gallery strip mall on southbound Concord Pike. For northbound travelers, access to the strip mall is by left turn at a traffic light intersection. In all respects, this Subway store is what one can expect from the chain. It’s clean and utilitarian. There are plenty of tables and chairs, and a self-​serve beverage bar. The only downside is since there are only two, and sometimes just one, people behind the counter handling both the sandwiches and cash register, there could be quite a wait if the restaurant is busy. However, they do seem to take the time to arrange the toppings in the sandwiches nicely.

I have to say, for a Subway, this was one of the best I’ve ever been to. It was lunch hour and the restaurant was clean, the bathroom was the cleanest one I think I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, and the two women working the line were efficient, clean, and made some of the best sandwiches I’ve had from a chain sandwich shop. Really, the women were working together and sandwiches were made so quickly (without skimping on the toppings), I felt like my ineptitude of deciding toppings fast enough was slowing them down. Very pleased with my lunch stop!
