Great fish. Pleasant help that appreciate your business.

Great place to get some fresh locally caught seafood. They have cases full of fresh fish, shrimp, oysters and all kinds of goods from the ocean. They also have a small section of fishing gear and LIVE bait along with some fresh not so LIVE bait like shrimp and mullet(the fish, not the haircut) When I’m in town fishing, I always stop here to fill the cooler up with ice and load up on bait. Ice is sold in 10lb or 50lb bags.

Nice place, a lot of their seafood really is local. Their fish looked good, their shrimp was nice, good local clams and squid. Fairly priced, too.

Best place for fresh local seafood. Only place we go when we’re on the beach. Local and imported fish. Local is best. They had crawfish, blue crab, NC shrimp, mahi mahi and shark. Prices are decent and product never disappoints.

Fantastically fresh fish, good selection, competitive prices, run by a great bunch of guys. Got some amazingly good local whole shrimp there at a solid cost. Stop in this shack halfway between Wilmington and Carolina Beach. You’ll thank yourself later. Misc: they also run on online store and deliver to NC, VA, and SC.

Not sure who left that terrible review but… If the filets don’t look fresh enough, choose from the tray of whole fish on ice and they will filet how you like right there! This is the only place I go for seafood. Local shrimp 11/pound, 12clams$ 3.99. No cloudy eyes on these freshies! Got 2 black sea bass, 1lb shrimp and 12 class for $ 25 just yesterday !!

We bought shrimp and crab legs to cook at our vacation condo. They were delicious. The shrimp were local. A lb of large shrimp was $ 10.99. The staff was very nice and willing to answer all of our questions about preparing the food. It was a little smelly but I’d expect that from a seafood shop.

Friendly and informative fishmongers. Beautiful triggerfish that made my wife’s and my vacation better than it would have been otherwise. Thanks!

Highly recommended and the attendants behind the counter were enthusiastic and helpful. We bought lump crabmeat, mahi – mahi and shark to cook when we got home to Durham. The first two were everything we hoped for — fresh, wonderful. The shark steaks were tricky to cook, so we may have cooked them a little more than optimum, so that is on us. But even with that in mind. several of the steaks had a gristly texture with some kind of fiber or connective tissue that made them tough to cut and tough to eat. For that reason, may rating is 3 stars.

I’ve been here 2 times in 2 years. Seafood is presented to look fresh. Some of it like the Sheepshead fish is made to look fresh and presented nicely for people who don’t know. Which is sad because it’s all very expensive. Their shrimp is very fresh but it’s horribly overpriced at nearly $ 20 a pound. However if you’re not from the south the attitudes of the young guys behind the counter gets your goat right away. Their a bit condescending. They want you in and out the door if you’re not local and their abrupt and short demeanors make you wonder why you just dropped a boat load of cash in their establishment. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Can’t say enough about Seaview Crab. Really nice group of people behind the counter. I’m on their weekly email list which is an awesome resource as we have been working more fish into our diet each week. This summer we’ve had fresh caught stone crabs, flounder, mahi, salmon, grouper and I’ve learned how to prepare and grill fish in all sorts of fun ways. Affordable pricing as well… we fed 2 families for $ 40 the other day, beats the heck out of any restaurant and even approaches fast food pricing. Whether you stop here regularly or just stop by on the way back from Pleasure Island, you’ll be impressed. Now that Port City produce has a stand next door you can get a whole local, fresh meal all in one place. Recipe: Our latest favorite — Mahi+ mango salsa(mango, cilantro, tomato, onion) out of the produce at the stand. Last night they even stayed open for me when one of my visiting relatives had a hankering for shrimp. We were standing in line at Harris Teeter debating on which shrimp from Thailand to get… and it clicked that I now refuse to buy any imported seafood. What was I thinking. I called Seaview, they stayed open and we had a shrimp feast last night. They even tossed in a few blue crabs pro bono. Unbelievable. So you stay open late and throw me free shit? Awesome. Again, can’t say enough. Good prices, great service and a fun fish stand for all ages.

Fresh Local Seafood at great prices, A local in the area turned me on to this place and swears by it. The staff are very friendly, I showed up almost 45 minutes after they had closed and they gladly sold me crab legs and everything else I needed. Anytime I am in the area and I need some fresh local seafood to cook I will come here.

We’d been patronizing this location for years, and this year found that a couple of young fellows had bought it. I’m delighted to say that the market is as clean as it ever was; the fish is very fresh, and the staff is willing to work with you. They had a gorgeous flounder that was just a lot larger than what we needed. While they would have preferred to sell the entire fish, they gladly filleted it for us and sold us just the piece we wanted. They seem to remember that customer service is what keeps people coming back. We sure will!

When I make a trip to Wilmington I must visit Seaview Crab Company. They are the nicest guys that own it and they have the best crabs around. My family and I LOVE hardshell crabs and can really put them away in short order. Fresh fish and more! A must stop if you like seafood.
