Pizza is fair but add 15 – 20 minutes to whatever pickup time they quote. Also If you order a toasted sub and a pizza, expect the sub to be cold. They make them at the same time. Sub = 2 minutes, pizza = 20+.

I tried few things from here: calzones are just all right and sandwiches are nothing special(cold cuts taste cheap and uninspiring). However, steak and cheese subs are reeeally good! One of the best ones I’ve ever tried. Bread is fresh. Steak is good. And topping make the sub yummy and juicy! If you are in the area then give them a try, otherwise, not worth driving to.

We’ve ordered here twice. Both times pizza, and they were great. Thick crust, chewy but crispy on the crust. yum. The second time I wanted to order cheese breadsticks(or cheesy-covered bread) and they suggested garlic bread. I said ok. It was yummy, but I would have liked it light on the garlic and heavier on the cheese. If I didn’t ask for garlic bread specifically, perhaps they could have asked me if they wanted it a specific way first. We’ll be back though.

Pizza Mia has gone so down hill over the years, unfortunately. Usually their food is really greasy and messy now. Whenever I go in there it seems like half the staff is fourteen years old, which is really confusing. The service is much more rude than before as well. I don’t order from here any more, which is a shame because this was my go to pizza place.

Good pizza and calzones, every now and then I get one that’s not cooked quite right. But tasty and good definitely will keep going back

I hate to leave a 2 star review for Pizza Mia since it’s one of the better pizza joints in town, but I had a bad experience that I want to share. Bought two caesar salads with grilled chicken. Chicken tenders were perfectly cooked. Lettuce was unwashed and gritty from the soil it was grown in and had a «dirt» flavor. A closer look at a particularly wingy piece of dirt and it turned out to be a bug. More looking around, more bugs! See the pic I posted for proof. Called the store and whomever answered the phone seemed to care less. Apologized lightly, comp’d one of the salads and sayonara. Not a good experience or method of dealing with the problem. On the other hand, pizza, calzones and hot subs are great, well stocked and perfectly cooked. I won’t buy another salad here again though.

I ordered at 11:30 on a Wednesday and it wasn’t delivered until 12:45. I realize it’s lunch time, but waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for a pizza made 3 miles away, especially with no projected/given time frame is just unacceptable. The pizza was barely warm and closer to room temperature when received. Were the pizza hot, the time wouldn’t be such a big deal… but it wasn’t. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Close to my office so I stop in occasionally. Yummy thin Italian style pizza and the sub rolls are fresh and delicious… great cold veggie sub with tons of fresh toppings, pretty good Italian too. Fairly friendly staff, can be busy at lunch so calling in your order is the way to go!

Pizza mia has the best steak and cheese calzones and they just got a new brand of chicken fingers that are even more delicious than before! Super crunchy batter. If you ever use Pizza Mia for catering which I highly recommend, they have AMAZING coconut chicken! My only dispute is no kids menu!

Been eating here since high school. always been great pizza! It definitely is on the greasier side but I still think it is one of the best pizza places in wilmington. Also free delivery is a plus.

If I wrote this a year ago, it would be a better review, but lately they have been terrible. I’ve been ordering from them for a few years and was previously very happy, but lately, the delivery has taken way longer and the food is crap. I just ordered a pepperoni calzone and paid for extra cheese. There’s hardly any cheese on it!!! And the crust is old(I can tell because I used to work at a pizza place. Old dough cooks differently.)!!! It’s also a bit burnt on the bottom. I’m only eating it because I get nervous about complaining since I’m afraid they’ll spit in my food(or worse). I won’t be ordering from them again.

They used to be amazing but the service has recently been subpar with burnt pizza, and late orders. One time I had to «double-check“on an order, but really was wondering why it was taking so long when I live just down the street from them. They gave a discount on the next pizza for the inconvenience– however the next was also burnt. Best advice is to just go down and pick it up. I’ve been a long time customer and still love their natural ingredients, maybe they’ve switched out staff since. Love them otherwise!

easily drive by this place looking for a pizza spot. for some reason the outside of this Pizza Joint, looks like anything other than a pizza spot. the Steak & Cheese Teriyaki sub was 10 Stars Outstanding! The meat ball sub was plain, not much flavor, just ok. 5 years living 1 street away, I never knew this place sold Pizza & Subs etc…

I tried a small anchovy pizza today, and it wasnt bad. They were a little bit light with the anchovies, and cheese. However the crust was a thin Italian style crust, not that nicely rounded Greek style crust, and cooked just right with a lite brown underneath. They had my pie ready for me when they said, which is a huge plus while running out for a quick lunch to get back to the office grind.

We live just up the street and order from here pretty regularly. I think the Steak and Cheese subs are the best around and even though I am not a fan of pizza in general, I like the pizza here. The staff are courteous and the prices are good.

Great place for take out or delivery. I love there buffalo tender pizza and their chicken fingers are the best I’ve ever had. I graduated in 2002 and no matter how long it’s been there always seems to be someone I went to high school with as the delivery driver. Great food, fast delivery and reasonable prices.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally found a good pizza place that’s only a five-minute ride from my house. Wilmington is overloaded with mediocre sub-and-pizza shops, so finding one that’s good enough to call our favorite was no small feat. We usually get a large half-cheese, half-sausage and mushroom. Too many places around here used canned mushrooms and slices of Italian sausage, but Pizza Mia uses fresh white mushrooms and crumbled sausage, which is EXACTLY the way I like it. Also, the subs are outstanding. They only have one size, which is too big for normal people, so I wish they would add a smaller size. I also like their deli-style sandwiches. Haven’t tried any of the rest of the menu, so can’t comment on it, but suspect it would be just as good.

They’ve been around for years and the good is very good and consistent. Pizza is a winner!
