Pat’s Pizzeria

What happened? I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and it was very good… well the meatballs that is as usually I hate frozen meatballs, but these were excellent and the sauce was good. The pasta was over cooked. So the second time I ordered this I asked them not to over cook the pasta and they did a good job cooking the pasta properly, BUT they had crappy hard chewy meatballs that were in-eatable…I guess I need to speak to the purchasing agent.

Pat’s Pizza and I have had a rocky relationship over the last several years. While adequate from a pizza standpoint they do offer other items on their menu. However, when work has lunch for 2 out of 4 days supplied from Pat’s with a rotating menu of just a few choices that does wear you out over a 5 year period.
There is some benefit to Pat’s for ease of delivery, cost, and set up with regard to getting lunch for the work place. I do enjoy their pizza, but not a great fan of it. I find the crust to be a bit lackluster and the sauce to be one dimensional. However, they do have one saving grace that the sausage they have as their topping is quite good. It has some mild spice to it and a hint of smoke. Don’t get me wrong it is good, not great.
Salads are fairly standard with mass produced single serve dressing options. The cheese steaks are good, but do not stand out compared to other sandwich places.
The staff is great and very helpful, they are one of the more easy to use with regard to catering for lunch. However, from a food standpoint the pizza and other options are fairly standard, they do not wow me. The only item is the sausage topping, much better then some of their local chain competitors.
