I only gave them 3 stars because the area is very congested, there is parking on the side of the building. Other than that the food is ok but I rather go to Gardena.

The pupusas are huge and delicious.
The curtido is one of the best.
I came here with the parents by word of mouth and this place has it going on. Yes I agree with other reviews that the food takes a while but it’s worth it.
I’ll be back for sure oh and the waitress was very nice to me.

The only reason I came here is because of there being pupusas there really good and price is great I always take them home but I decided to dine in the service was ok but we got a coke and they gave us a cup but there was no ice and the cup smelled like soap it was gross.

STOP… Don’t come here bad service, my God… took forever to serve our food .you can tell that there was no management on the premises just by the atmosphere the overhead music was so loud it as hard to communicate with the people at our table for get about. the waitress taking our order it wasn’t easy. When the food was finally served there was a bad taste with the soup the you can tell the meat was old… wow, the two of the stake orders were burned. The soup was returned. After our meal we preceeded to the cashier to pay we asked to speak with a manager we were told that… There Was None she proceeded to apologize and questioned the waitress who served us .it was confirmed that the steaks were burned so she went to the back spoke to the cook to cook a female came out angry … questioning us. what was wrong with her food, we explain how the two stakes where burned and how the rice didn’t taste that great and how the soup, meat was hard… I’ve never had the experience where the cook comes out of the kitchen to argue with the customer, Wow. as you can already imagine there was no resolve only a sorry from the cashier is and how there was nothing that she can do even with the conformation that the steaks were burned.. We paid the bill over 50.00 asked for the ower or managers name I can’t tell you how hard she hesitated. …she was consistent with his first name JOSE she said. …over and over again I said ok what is his last name? I said Jose can be the cook. .she laughed… she finally gave me the name Coreas… We were told he is only here in the evenings… she wrote it down on a paper receipt Jose Coreas. I frequently go to the Gardena location. Although the food is great, the waitresses are rude and the food takes forever to come out. Even when I call in orders I still end up waiting about an extra 20 – 30 min for my order. Today I waited an hour for an order I called in and there were a few other upset customers that were waiting for there food also.
They are lucky that the food is pretty authentic, but the service is horrible!

Good food and service. It gets too busy on Sundays and they just need to get more people to help. The servers are very friendly.
My family like this place!

We found this place by pure accident. We are glad we did the outside is typical to LA County but the inside is clean and everything in order. The food is made to order… sure you would have to wait a bit for it is well worth the wait. My son loved the pupusas and specially because the curtido is not spicy as others Salvadorenos places that they put chile.
Pupusas I only tried a bite cause I am a diabetic but they are good. Not Sonsonate Grill but well worth the less drive. Now, it has became the place to go

If you have you ever been to their Gardena location then you will be familiar with the food and atmosphere here. You get the same great food with generous portions.
This location is tucked into a little strip mall location but that doesn’t take away from the food that they serve. We went during the early afternoon so it wasn’t that busy but I can see this place getting crowded during the weekend and dinner service.
