Massage and Reflexology of Delaware

Amazing! Booking was easy, but if you want weekend times they book out a few weeks. Massage was wonderful. Heating and cooling compresses. No tipping. So relaxing. Probably one of the best massages I’ve had!

After becoming a client of mine, I definitely wanted to try out their massage and reflexology therapists. WOW! Unbelievable. I was in heaven for an entire hour and given heating and cool packs at no extra charge. It’s now apart of my regular stress-​relief therapy! Every therapist I get is awesome and is very attentive to any injuries or issues I’m having. I highly recommend! And best yet — no tipping. The price is amazing.

My personal experiences here were very poor. I won’t be going back.
Don’t get me wrong– the people there are lovely and nice, that’s why I’m having a very difficult time writing this review. However, if you want deep tissue massage, try to find another venue. I’ve been lucky enough in my life to have three fantastic massage therapists… and the only reason I have had 3 and not 1 is because they all end up moving away, and with the last one I moved away. So I’ve been having work done for the past 15 years and know a good massage therapist when I get one. But with Massage and Reflexology of Delaware, this was the first time I’ve been so disappointed that I left the place actually resentful and feeling worse than when I came in. :(
It seems most of the massage therapists they employ only do light touch massage– like they’re just rubbing oil into your skin gently and that’s it. When I asked for someone who could do deep tissue, they pawned me off on someone who obviously was new and needed hours. She was worse than the first person I had. Both times I left I felt worse than when I came in. Then when I tried to schedule a new appointment, they tried to keep giving me appointments with the same two women again. I am very disappointed and wish it could have worked out. You would think since massage therapists are a dime a dozne that they would only employ those who give really thorough massages and possess strong hands. Oh well.
But I will end on a positive note and state that the atmosphere inside is lovely and they do have great deals *if* you end up with one of their better therapists (whom are always booked, sadly).

I sorta hate to give away my secrets but this place is The Best. I’ve been to many different massage therapy places in the area and this is by far my favorite. My blood pressure drops as soon as I walk in the door. I’ve had massages with a number of different therapists — all female, some more intense than others — and every one has been outstanding, leaving me mushy like an overcooked noodle (gluten free of course) and unable to drive myself home for at least 15 minutes. Very quiet, clean, soothing rooms with candlelight. There’s also a no-​tipping policy. Soooooooooo relaxingzzzzzzz.
