Little Vinnie’s Pizza & Pasta

Take out or eat in has always been great, it’s our go to place for good comfort Italian food. And the staff is always good to us too.

The food is great, I usually get the pizza or cheesesteaks. They offer combinations that are easy on the wallet. The owner seemed pretty cool to me, unlike someone else’s post. Ive been there 10 – 15 times now and have not been disappointed yet.

Disappointed tonight. Called and ordered some subs and a medium pizza, and was told «nope, you can only get a large «with no explanation we ordered elsewhere. Such a disappointment bc we were in the mood for their food !!

Come for lunch all the time! The specials are great as is the chicken & garlic w/​broccoli pasta! Tons of garlic, just make sure you bring a tooth brush if you are returning to work! Pasta dishes are solid as is the daily soup options! Great to support a small local business!

This Place is one of the area’s best kept secrets… that must be told! Nothing fancy and they’re not open late, but the food is made to order and always tastes fresh. You might not expect a little place like this, in a small shopping center to serve food this good. Plus, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are a good size. It’s the only place I go for chopped antipasto. My favorite dish is the penne arrabiata, but they always have specials that should not be ignored. Full bar service to compliment your meal. And take out next door in case you can’t stay. Highly recommended!

Great date night for my husband and I. I had the Shrimp and clams in white sauce and he had the nightly special of Chicken, Baby Shrimp, mushrooms and greens over penne in garlic and oil. Both very delicious. The staff were very sweet and attentive. Will definitely go back here again.

Had to go the other night. Had Eggplant Parmigiana that was sumptuous. My wife ate half of it. She had baked Ziti that was very tasty and meatballs that were great. It was so good I’m going back tonight for dinner.

Stopped in and grabbed a few slices of pizza — really good slices! It was pretty crowded at lunch too. A woman next to me ordered a linguine and clamsauce dish — it smelled amazzzing! I’ll be back to try some of those pasta dishes for sure.

Terrible experience. Place has crazy policies and crazier staff. Went in with my son to treat him to lunch after helping me on a job. He order burger and bottle soda-​total $ 8.00. I ask for $ 4.00 special 2 cheese slices and fountain soda. As helper is getting slices I say make those pepperoni. No problem. I go to pay man says $ 13.00, I think $ 12.00 because I forgot about the toppings. I say sorry my mistake. Then I ask for soda cup to get my fountain soda. He says you don’t get one, come again? You don’t get one because you asked for pepperoni-​I paid extra for the pepperoni. Then a lady-​turns out is Beverly Syed the actual owner. She calmly tries to explain this nitpicking policy to me. We are having a civil conversation when the supposed owner – cook explodes and starts shouting at her at me at his staff. Says give me the stuff back-​here is your money-​get the F out. WTF? All I was saying was that I didn’t get why I don’t rate a lousy ten cent soda-​cup costs them more than the soda! Guy is nuts-​literally shoved me out the door hitting me with it in the process. Guy needs anger mgmt., a role model, or hug-​I don’t know. Just steer clear of the place all together. Overpriced and food is marginal at best.

Their pizza is very good! They have the best Sauteed Chicken and Spinach sandwich that I have ever had. I also have had their cheesesteaks, they are pretty good but I really like their garlic bread cheesesteak.

We just purchased 2 pizzas from here. They are by far the worst pizzas I have ever seen. They were barely cut to begin with. We had to get a knife to cut them in order to even try to get a slice. Then, when you tried to pick up a slice, the topping (cheese and pepperoni) just slid off the crust into a greasy blob inside the box. The cheese was a lumpy and congealed mess. Quite honestly, I have had better pizzas from Domino’s. If I was not at my job, I would have taken these back to them and asked for my money back. We ordered from here for the first time based on the good reviews. What a huge mistake. To their credit, I called them and spoke to a manager who I believe said her name was Beverly. She arranged to have someone come to our job and pick up the pizzas and refund our money. She said she was upset because they have never had someone complain like this about their food. Thank you to her for handling the situation in such a professional manner, however I don’t think I will be trying anything from this establishment again.

Best Cheesesteak around here, hands down !!!
Tip, tell them to hold the salt

I have dinned here dozens of times, and in my opinion this is one of the best Italian places to eat in Delaware. All of the soups here are homemade fresh everyday. The crab bisque is by far the best. The majority of their business is done on the takeout side, and you cant beat their pizza. But the dinning room is also a fun experience. If you dine in, i highly recommend the lasagna. The cheese tortellini is also excellent.

The pizza here is very good. It is probably the closest thing to NY pizza one can get in Delaware. My other favorite item here is the grilled chicken sandwiches. They are huge and the chicken is well marinated and delicious. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are not available in the dining room. This is definitely a better place to take out from than sit down as the atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

What a treat! We visited Little Vinnie’s with some friends who live in the area. It is one of their favorite spots and I can understand why. Coming from Napa, CA, I have access to some amazing restaurants. Little Vinnie’s is the kind of real restaurant that we could use in the valley. Delicious food at a great price, served by a very attentive and friendly wait staff. The owners were even on hand to make sure that we were enjoying our experience. My only regret is that I didn’t have a bigger belly to enjoy more of the many wonderful items on their menu. I look forward to going back some day. It will make the cross county flight that much more bearable. :-)

Pretty good place because it’s so close to work for me. Prices are average and pizza’s pretty good for lunch. They got some pretty good sandwiches and I especially like their sauteed chicken and spinach sandwich. yums!
grilled chicken salad… 0 star. it was absolutely terrible. There was barely any lettuce and it was all chopped up like i was given the last of the bag. Cucumbers were all diced in the salad along with some tomatoes. Chicken was also diced up that they probably use for their pizza/​sandwiches because I didnt think it was grilled for my salad. a very chopped salad that I had to use s spoon to eat it. definitely won’t be getting that again, and ESPECIALLY not for the price i paid. As you can tell, I was very upset with the salad (that i had for lunch today)– there was a lot of it, just not good quality at all.
come to vinnie’s for everything else. NOT the salad…

Not the most delicious pizza around, but some really awesome regular deals for lunch:
$ 4 — 2 slices and soda
$ 6 — grilled chicken sandwich (lettuce, tomato), fries, and soda
$ 4.75 — slice of cheesesteak pizza and soda
I almost don’t want to recommend the cheesesteak pizza because there is a limited amount every day, and don’t want people to get it before me… its yummy!

Great for lunch or dinner! Very friendly staff!
