The 5 Star ratings that this store constantly gets is well understood now that I have experienced it in person. Well deserved. I am over 60 now and needed to graduate from running and simple weights in my youth to exercise equipment that I knew nothing about. I stopped in one day and Jay took his time explaining the various machines and models with patience and enthusiasm, listening and caring about what I was trying to accomplish with a purchase. No pressure at all, never making me feel like an «out of place» old guy while explaining things in a easy to understand but non condescending manner. The store is large, immaculate with many Quality models of all kinds of machines to try. The service both in the store as well as the setup they did at the house (Inversion machine and Recumbent bike) were excellent. When I get in a little better shape, i’ll be back in for another as i build my basement Gym. Highly recommended. George M

I was shopping for an elliptical machine for quite a while. I finally found what I was looking for at Leisure Fitness. After a bad experience with a purchase of an elliptical machine at another store, I was reassured that the purchase at Leisure Fitness would be a much better experience. It certainly was! The manager and sales associate were so kind and knowledgeable of their products. I had my elliptical delivered and assembled in my home. It was done professionally and in a timely manner. I would recommend Leisure Fitness to everyone! They offer the highest quality available. Not only that, but I was a big fan of the gym and I was able to find an elliptical compatible with the gym quality machines. Thanks to Leisure Fitness, I am able to exercise in the comfort of my own home. Thanks so much!

I run a small gym in Newark and my boss had given me Shane at Leisure Fitness’s number to talk to about replacing a treadmill. Shane was great. Communication was quick and he went above and beyond. I needed advice on changing the layout of my gym and he looked up regulations and sent me the information I needed which was very useful. He was also very knowledgeable when it came to picking out the best treadmill for the type of population that uses my gym. Finally, the treadmill arrived promptly, the set up was fast which was great because it was during business hours. The gentlemen setting it up were very courteous to the exercising members. Overall, the whole purchase experience was great and my company will be sticking with Leisure Fitness for sure!

My husband and I traveled from Lancaster to Wilmington based on the recommendation of a friend who had purchased a treadmill here. (We had been to several other businesses first.) We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon, not long before closing. Jay, the manager, was juggling several customers at once, and we let him know that we were happy to browse and wait our turn.
Once the other customers were taken care of, Jay spent as much time as we needed, never making us feel as though we were extending his work day. (We were keeping him from leaving for the day.) He was happy to compare the different models and help us choose the one most suited to our needs. While my husband was playing with the verious treadmills, I wandered over to the recumbent bikes and fell in love with one. I already had a perfectly good bike, but this one suited my particular medical needs better.
In the end, we wound up with a new treadmill, a new recumbent bike, and a new exercise ball. A follow-​up need related to one of the purchases was taken care of immediately. The delivery and set-​up people were pleasant and professional.
Best of all, we love our new equipment AND the service we got from Jay at Leisure Fitness. I would recommend this business to anyone. The quality of the equipment is far superior to the offerings at places like Sports Authority, Sears, and the like.

The service at this store is beyond expectation. Jay is very knowledgable and quite helpful in selecting the right piece of equipment. My wife and I use the elliptical and treadmill daily. Thanks so much for all the great service.
