This was such a great place. The rooms are cozy, clean and large. The staff is friendly and helpful. All the rooms are facing Whiteface Mt. so you definitely can’t beat the view or drive to ski area. Close drive to Lake Placid town. Best part was there dog friendly accommodations we travel with our Bernese Mt. dog and she felt right at home. Thanks again for the great trip.

I would like to give this place a higher star rating, but if I step back and compare it to my usual stops like Hampton Inn, I have to put it notch below. That being said, this place is clean and comfortable. The rooms are large and a little rustic, but not tacky. Each room has a small refrigerator and microwave as well as cable TV. It is located right outside the entrance to the Whiteface Ski area, so if you are a skier you can almost walk over. Each room has a view of the Whiteface slopes, and you really want to ask for a room on the second floor so you have a balcony looking over to the ski slope — really nice for a glass of wine at the end of the day.
